This might literally change the way Brazil approaches the sport. They just saw what slick passing and pressing do to an opponent.

I think that it was already changing. Gilberto Silva was talking about it before the game.

Gilberto just looks like he wants to cry. Alexi said "that was awesome" in a stoner type voice. Somebody needs to GIF it.

was Brazil just that awful, Germany just that good, combination of the two? Brazil didn't really play anyone besides Chile that was decent until Germany

They just did a nice breakdown of some plays on WCT. Brazil were just lazy. They really missed Silva.

Eta - and it looked early on like they just thought they were better than the Germans. They attacked and thought they would just be able to continue that. But you could see early on that Germany were just technically on another level. The way they built attacks out of the back with passes was stunning. And Brazil was stunned.

Some people reverted to the Brazilian style after Dunga's term in charge. Maybe they will have changed their minds after this game.

Either broken nosed Clint Dempsey or a hobbled Altidore would have at least gotten hat trick had we played them tonight.

With a last name similar to Hasselhoff, have to admit I enjoyed some futball for maybe the first time ever.

Michael Ballack is having a #MOTM performance on World Cup tonight. He's been very good tonight.

You are an idiot. Brazil's most reputable newspaper did an extensive article on the World Cup and the spending compared to education and other infrastructure. 1 month of what Brazil spent on education roughly is similar to what they spent all seven years on this WC. I don't have the link, but you come across as a moron. Brazil still has a lot of problems, but there are a lot of really nice parts to it. Literally half of rio is like an American city. The other half is favelas.

Smh. Alexi is my boy. We hung out for a little last night and talked. He is cool as shite and incredibly friendly. We agreed on everything and talked about the USMNT for awhile. He even liked what I said and might use something I said on air. Asked permission for it and all.

Twellman seems more private. He was talking about stu bear though, so my ears and penis perked up for that. Twellman talked with Alexi a good bit and dominated the convo.

I just walked by Mike Tirico.
