No, it's more of a "enemy of my enemy is my friend" type of thing.

I don’t watch a whole lot of Newcastle, but all of their fans on Reddit seem to despise him

I never watch Newcastle but he starts every game where he is healthy so Rafa obviously likes what he offers.

6 points behind and Arsenal’s next games are Liverpool and City

Edit: I completely skipped a month and was looking at February instead of January.

A guy who responded to City’s insider from Goal Sam Lee after posting a video about the loss lol.

I'm guessing some of that got lost in translation.

SUNDERLAND had the third highest stadium attendance today as they hosted Bradford in a League One clash. The Stadium of Light hosted 46,039 fans today as Sunderland beat Bradford 1-0 thanks to a first-half Aiden McGeady goal.

Only United and Liverpool had more this Boxing Day.

A title race between two teams with a history of bottling it. I can't wait to watch this unfold.

Wolves are going to end this "title race" next Saturday.

I've been a Spurs fan long enough, I know how this ends.

This is still a 4 team race imo, but Liverpool have looked far and away the most steady side. Sure city were scoring loads of goals before this dip in form, but the Liverpool defense is the best in Europe right now and barring an injury to Virgil or Alisson I don’t see that changing.

This is not a 4 team race

In reality, I do think City are going to win this still. I just don't buy into teams until I see them do it, and my entire time following soccer has been Tottenham choking in general and Liverpool finding ways to lose in the league.

It will be really interesting to see how the 3 teams’ European campaign unfold as I think that could end up playing a factor

City should def advance against Schalke. Liverpool has to play their first leg against Bayern without VVD so a hard tie gets even harder. Spurs v Dortmund should be awesome and up for grabs

If LFC or Spurs get knocked out in round of 16 that could def give them an edge in the league going forward

We’ll know more in 8 days (obviously ) as Liverpool host Arsenal this weekend before the showdown at the Etihad next week

As a Liverpool fan I couldn’t be happier how the first half has played out. I know it was mentioned earlier, but I think Spurs and Poch deserve all the credit in the world for how their season has gone thus far after no signings/the stadium shitshow/bad start in UCL group stages. Truly impressive and I’m glad LFC played them away when we did
