A goal every other match is tearing it up esp at his age
If a player was scoring every other match in England that would be around the 20 goal mark which is the bench mark for an excellent season for a goal scorer.
Those others dudes did it in their prime when they should be in better leagues but instead are looking world class vs shite defending
Vela even admitted he’s here so he doesn’t have to take soccer as seriously anymore

Took a bottom basement team to the playoffs and hosting a match with in the span of a few months
Had DC near the top of the table this year until the teams bad form in the summer
Helped open a new SSS and help inject life back into an apathetic fan base at times
And finished in the team of the year despite playing half the season

Rooney has been a complete success. Not quite at the level of Vela, Zlatan, Josef, or Almiron but close.
