Thumbs up to Chelsea for playing with 10 men and to this thread for making the game even better

Hurt as hell though, League and Champions gone in 3 days.

Wynalda did make a good point that Villa was sorely missed.

Yeah Barca need someone else to take the pressure off Messi.

This game will probably spur them to buy Thiago Silva as well.

He's been their weak link for years. They really need to get over their Catalan syndrome and get a better keeper.

meanwhile torres scored the goal that you only see in nightmares and nike commercials... to be on the road, in the most hostile environment, everything against you, the way he beat Valdes and rolled that ball in reminded me of MJ against the Monstars

I was waiting for your response. I figured it would be fittingly amusing.

I really thought Chelsea lost the game when Torres came on, as he didn't seemed tuned on to the threat from Alves.

Also, Pep did some weird subs. Tello over Pedro? Odd choice there.

Guardiola's gone. He guaranteed a win today in the press (unless 'we'll be in Munich' means 'we're all going to take a field trip and watch the final from the stands').

Mi thoughts exactly. Chelsea had them figured out, and most Barça players were playing below potential, especially Messi. Don't know if it would have made a difference.

Very, very puzzling sub.
Only thing that makes remotely sense is the fact that Drogba already had a yellow.

If he's gone it will be due to his own will, not Barça firing him.
