For the best. Hopefully we can win Europa and send him off with something.

A legend who, like most legends, held on a little too tight at the end. I’ll only remember him fondly though. The definition of class and changed the game.

I have an odd faith in Sanlehi and Mislentat to make a good hire.

They may not but things are clearly broken at Arsenal and have been for a while. And Wenger, legend that he is, was part of that breaking and couldn’t be part of the fix.

Arsenal was such a force 12-18 years ago under Wenger. I really started following during the 2000-01 season and remember watching all his interviews on Sky and LOLing when he’d end sentences with “as well.” Absolutely hated that invincibles squad (Keown, Parlour, Vieira, Henry, Reyes, Wiltord, Edu, etc. ) but man what a team that was. Dude is a legend, hated to see his public perception fade over the years but at least he’s leaving on his own terms. Also really miss Highbury, can’t stand these plastic new grounds.

It was the right time to go. I hope we can beat Atletico and get to the EL final so he can go out a winner.
