Hazard isn't going to happen imo. Park Chu-Young, our new signing, didn't help us in that regard considering we snatched in from Lille mid-transfer. He should be a solid player for us.

so he isn't the striker we are close to signing then, since we have technically signed him?

Who knows? These last three days of the transfer window will be fun to follow.

Well, judging by the quote we are signing 3 players. Do we have enough funds to splurge on 3 top class players just from the Nasri and Cesc sales?

Only asking because since it is so close to the end the clubs who don't really want to part ways with players will hike up the price, and since we are desperate and everyone knows it, even more so now after today's drumming other clubs will ask for a ton. Then again, some clubs looking to get something rather than lose the player for nothing come the end of the year will probably settle for a much cheaper asking price.

Yes. Plus we have more money not from the sales. It is time to join the modern football world. MCFC four years ago was a joke, they are now a top 4 team on the planet.

At this point you have to overpay no questions. Bitching about out what could have been in 2012 with an extra 5 or 10 million will fall on deaf ears when you are battling for a spot in the Europa league draw

Well that is good to hear

now what's our wishlist look like?

I know I have read/heard the same couple of names heavily linked with us, but after today I am just looking for some reassurance hahah.

The Board is holding us back, not Wenger. We are Arsenal, a big club. Time to act like one.

The game has changed financially no doubt.

Time to step up to it or be happy with mid-table and Europa league

Plus the fact that a replacement for Cesc was not agreed to before he was ever sold is criminal. An agreement should have been in place for someone in the range of 25-30 mil fir that creative role.

Watching us bang crosses across the box with no one in the area does no constitute an attack

We haven't technically signed him but he's 1 of the 3 we will sign. I'd only expect two more signings. Park only was going to cost Lille 2 mil and I doubt he'll cost us any more. Good bit of business and gives us a lot of leftover scrilla to get more. I expect we won't use all of the Cesc/Nasri funds in the next 3 days, but be in the running for a top target in January.

If we actually get hazard and cahill at the wire like this after all the speculation...well naturally ill be ecstatic. But shite couldn't arsenal have done it like three weeks ago?

Yep. We knew Cesc and Nasri were leaving in June.

Traore to QPR. I'm not a fan of his, but this is hilarious. Surely this means Wenger is going to buy a LB.

I am not surely is a word that Wenger knows. It surely seems that way to me. Baines?
