I started watching Arsenal last year and for some reason I didn't particularly like him.. but I've definitely turned the corner, been great lately.

I started liking him right away for the simple reason that he wasn't Almunia or Fabianski.

This referee is extremely card happy

fortunate early goal for arsenal, they are dominating possession and are threatening in Milan's half. That said Milan still just boot it forward and with Arsenal's weakness in defense Milan catch Arsenal pressing up high.

Rosicky had a great chance just outside the box where he could have shot or waited for RVP to get into a better scoring position but he passed it much too soon and ruined the opportunity.

Arsenal need to get a 2nd this half so they don't have to press up too high and get caught on the counter. I would like to see Walcott play as a 2nd striker instead of a winger though, go 4-4-2 since Ox and Gervinho are both out there and can play the wing. As is Ox isn't involved in the center at all right now, and he's very dangerous attacking the defenders from the wing.

Let me make sure I understand the tiebreaker rules correctly. If we were to score 3 more. Then it would be 4-4. The game would go into extra time correct? Then penalties?

yup, I think two 15 minute halves then to PKs if it's still a deadlock.

(but let's not get ahead of ourselves)

2-0, Rosicky

Rosicky has been more involved this game than the epl match he scored in. Guy is distributing and in the right place often this half.

Might have supplanted Ramsey as our full time attacking mid.

Away goals isn't a tiebreaker in UEFA?

Also only 2 more!

ETA: ignore me, I was thinking it was 5-1 last game.

Milan just booting it forward keeps getting caught offsides since our backline is pressed so high to help out on the attack. Dangerous for us to play so high considering Milan have some very talented individuals up top.

If it's 4-4 then there have been no away goals.

Yeah I edited, for some reason I was thinking it was 5-1 AT milan.. which oddly enough would have been better for us.

As was the case last tie Milan are weak along the wings on defense, and this left back looks very shaky for them, but as was the case last tie as well Arsenal refuse to play through Walcott on the wing. I would love to see him help out RVP up top, but if he's playing out on the wing then get him the ball out there in Milan's half.

As is Rosicky, Song, and Sagna are very heavily involved but Gervinho has hardly touched the ball, RVP maybe 3 times, Ox not really enough and he hasn't been in great positions to set up others either. And Walcott not enough action in Milan's half.
