I think every fan would rather be winning EPL titles and making Champions league finals with a bad economic model than be barely sitting in 4th with a great economic model. But since we are in 4th it's nice to know that at least we didn't spend a shitton of money like Liverpool and Chelsea to be even worse than 4th

I understand. But like I said, Liverpool and Chelsea are both in transition phases that have nothing to do with money.

ETA Idk what I'm arguing about now.

Thats why arsenal, as long as they're under wenger, won't really have to "worry" about transitioning. He is one of the best youth developers/scouters in the world, so we will always have fresh youth talent that will keep us (most of the time) in the 3rd-5th spot in the table as our transition period.

But it seems that I've gathered from my Arsenal buddies (and the ones online) that they don't agree with the way the club is run.

I'd rather be run like us than be run like Chelsea. Literally the only problem is that fans feel Wenger doesn't spend enough money. But the truth is we spend plenty of money. Wenger just refuses to overpay for players. He spent £12 million on AOC in the same summer that Downing, Henderson, and Young went for near £20 million. That's a rather excellent move in comparison, but it isn't nearly as flashy because of AOC's youth. Fans want the flashy signing for some reason.

In addition, lots of decisions were made in the early noughties that are affecting us now. The self-sufficient model is the right one, though it will lead to higher ticket prices. Arsenal's hands are tied until the shirt deal runs out in 2014 and the stadium debt is paid off. The fans in this case (including Arsenal's Supporters Trust) are being a little myopic.

with Arteta, Diaby, Ramsey, Coquelin, and Benayoun out for tomorrow... and Rosicky 'doubtful', that leaves us with four MF for the game - Song, Ox, Walcott and Gervinho.

Does that mean we start Chamakh or Park alongside RvP and change our formation? Wenger said we're going to take risks to get 5 goals...

If so we'll give up six.

I'm pretending tomorrow isn't happening. It'll likely be the first game in a long time that I don't watch.

If Rosicky passes his fitness test, it'll probably be he and the ox with Song in midfield.

Milan will play three strikers so out should be one hell of an open match.

I'll be in class so I can't watch. A large part of me just wishes we'd concede and rest up. We looked dead tired Saturday.

Same, this isn't worth risking van Persie over. Having healthy, fresh players should be more important than momentum.

If the result would have been 3-1 I would watch and say play Robin. No way now.

I'm torn... I'm going to Summers to watch, at least, the first half... If we're up 2-0 or better, I'm staying and I hope we go for broke. If not, I hope he pulls Rvp and others.

If we do pull off a miracle today, I don't want to be at work. My optimism is my downfall, lol.
