If they can get the Alvarez contract right it can be a really good one for us. Atletico are in a bind at the moment. That relationship between Alvarez, the club, and fans is completely broken so they can't possibly expect anyone to pay 150 Mil for him.

I don't disagree with you but we tend not to sell our best players most of the time.
Hell sell Saka, Saliba, or Rice right now and you'll get 150 million. But we won't sell them.

But this Alvarez thing is getting ridiculous now with Atleti and Barca doing a fricking PR fight. We should walk away from this. I never get why we twerk so much for certain players.

We need to make our final offer that makes sense for us, not Atleti. If they don't accept, walk away and leave the situation in their hands- unhappy player and fans. They will then be forced to sell Barca or deal with a nightmare environment.

He’s a top level player in the right system. Atleti doesn’t fit his skillset. I think he would do well here however I don’t want to spend crazy $ either.

Probably gonna get paid off the last year of his salary. West Ham couldn't pay him a signing bonus to offset the last year of his Arsenal salary. 5.2 million pounds. 100k a week.
