Arsenal 2026/2027 Season Thread

With the summer transfer window beginning yesterday (and our other thread getting anchored and locked) I figured it was time to start our thread for the 2026/2027 season, and our drive for a consecutive PL championship.

Love that third kit. Not a fan of the Morgan Rogers move. He's an upgrade to Trossard because of age, but he isn't a better player than Martinelli. Rogers has a very low dribble success rate and plays almost zero defense in Emery's system.

Well he won't play if he can't defend. That easy. Look at Eze for example being benched for what 6 Premier League games due to not defending against Villa away.
And he is better at finishing than Martinelli. Martinelli doesn't shoot the lottery like Rogers. Rogers will say f it and try to shoot. Martinelli has lost that skill a bit.

That's my point. If he doesn't fit the mold of an Arteta player, why even pursue him? I get it, he scores some fantastic goals but that's not enough for me. Martinelli scored the most important PL goal of the season for Arsenal against City to draw that match late at home.
