Zubi going to be life changing for us, he pings the ball around so quickly. Rarely passes backwards. If teams fall asleep on defense he can punish them through the middle

Tidy move from Ethan, his frame looks a little more robust
When I was watching earlier, I was thinking Ethan switched to 22 but 22 doesn't look like Ethan. Looked bigger.

Our academy has been producing absurd talent recently. I mean look at this list! I am sure I am missing other gems.
Saka, ESR, MLS, Ethan, and Max is insane.

Draconian Sanctions in shambles, Isak formally requesting to move this window.
I’d guess we’re out on that unless we move Kai, which seems unlikely at this point.
Shame we’ll miss out on that. Probably going to Liverpool which would put them as a prohibitive favorite I reckon
Although I guess he might just be bluffing for a new contract with a release clause in it. We’ll see

Imagine that crazy bastard Arteta selling Martinelli and Trossard and buying Isak to play off the left

Have you seen the rumored contract he wants? Pretty absurd if it's true

I feel like it's more likely Isak goes to Liverpool and Rodrygo to Arsenal.
At least that opens us up to have less competition. It would be between us and City if Rodrygo wants to move to the prem.

Oh yeah, I'll give some love to Mosquera. It is official now. But there have been pics of him with the guys in Singapore floating around. So, it wasn't a secret or anything he was with the team.

Sporting Director Andrea Berta said: "We’re very happy and excited to have signed a hugely talented young player in Cristhian Mosquera. We identified Cristhian as one of the strongest young defenders in European football, and he is an important signing for our future.

I love this move. Giving me some Saliba type vibes. Young guy who is starting in a top league at a young age. Going to be some real quality depth and perhaps a replacement if/when Saliba heads to Real.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Guessing maybe we see him vs Villarreal? Spurs game next week seems like a stretch

After three days of Gyökeres signing “imminent” now “signing expected within 48 hours.”
Man, I’m nervous til the ink is on the damn paper.

I trust Ornstein.
Even giving out the shirt number and saying he will fly out tomorrow to join the team.
Mosquera wasn't official and he was pictured at the airport and then hanging out with the guys in Singapore before he was announced.

Unloading him, getting Eze, AND keeping Trossard would be insanely good.
Unloading him and trossard to bring in two upgraded attackers would be beyond insane, but this is 100% not happening

When's he scheduled to come back? We would probably need to take a heavy discount to get rid of him. I'm honestly for it

The wages is the big thing for him, I think he’s on like 265k/week
Thing he’s due back in Octoberish?
I think you’d could get 20 or so for him, he’s got 2 years left on contract

Yeah he’s our 3rd highest paid player behind rice and Kai I believe.
Between transfer fee and his wages he cost us more than Pepe.
Now Jesus is better than Pepe, but the injuries just killed it.
These two signings were big outlays that didn’t work out. Another reason I wanted Gyokeres. Just keep it simple, dude scores goals, we need goals. No need to overthink it.

quote:No way someone is paying that for Jesus coming off an ACL and those wages. We are more likely to just cancel his contract and let him go play in Brazil.

Unless the Saudi’s want him for some reason.
