It makes sense. Trying to take the piss when we have won the league what 7 times since the last time they did in the 50s or some shite
It's LSU fans being obsessed with Bama in the 2010s but more desperate.

An hour out. So proud of the boys man. We usually have 4 or 5 capable penalty takers. I think we had 3 on the pitch.
Looking forward to summer. I think we are 2 guys from dominating. We need a White replacement too. Fun season. I think we will truly play some attacking football next year like we are capable. Maybe Rice and MLS is the new partnership in there.
Would like Sweden and Norway to have early exits so Gyokeres and Odegaard are ready to go. Same with Germany and Havertz. We need this break. So proud man. We didn't have the luxury of playing our B team all season. Gabriel STILL a club legend. Don't care

Oh it was an awesome season. I'm not bummed at all. First premiere league title since I've followed Arsenal. Best season by far overall since I've followed them by a fairly wide margin.

I don't think we were reffed very fairly in the 2nd half, shame because I thought he was quite good in the first half.
Starting with blowing the whistle while we're taking a corner at half, he shifted and basically gave PSG every 50/50 call the rest of the game
1st half, both teams had 4 fouls each
2nd half & ET was PSG 7 vs Arsenal 13

It was weird as frick that the ref gave them every single soft free kick. Timber won the ball cleanly like 3 times all fouls. Just thought it was bullshite but don't want to blame him. They also kicked the ball away 4 or 5 times no yellow. Mosquera immediate yellow 2 seconds into the 2nd half for taking too long to throw it in. Just weird decisions

I didn't mind the defensive setup for the most part.
Thought there were plenty of chances, especially late in regulation and ET, that we could have done more in buildup. Once Kai came off we didn't win hardly any aerial duels or 2nd balls it felt like

Our club has been so well run recently. This is great news. They know and see the issues. Kinda want to take a stab at the Italian long throw RB baw at brentford Kayode. He killed us this season.
If our budget is 250M like last season, I need at least 80 of that to be LW

I think we are in for a very ruthless summer.

I'm even more confident now than ever.
PSG kicked field goals, put the ball out of play, bought the refs. This team will spend and go again. All that bluster and they couldn't score a single fricking goal that wasn't from the penalty spot.
Oh and good luck to you premier league squads trying to catch us. You won't.

Dunno if y’all are too coddled for self awareness or you just don’t watch much of the sport, but that’s a pretty common decision when it’s past the extra time and the ball goes out yet again. Even more so if the team isn’t hurrying to take it. Saka literally took an extra 30 seconds just slumping over to get the ball and place it.

What is you frickers posting in an Arsenal thread. Chelsea and Spurs fans are shameless

i don’t think we will ever get a favorable league phase / knockout draw like we witnessed this year
to make it this far to lose on pens is gut wrenching
really have to put this behind them quick with the parade being tomorrow
looking forward to the transfer window and team makeup come august

Your Arsenal hate is clouding your judgement. I've watched literally hundreds of games this year across all 5 European leagues and it is incredibly rare, and honestly I can't remember it happening, that a corner is given and not allowed to be taken.
You're right in that when the ball goes out after extra time it happens, but a corner is never given first.

Not sure it would have mattered honestly. With the way Mikel set the team up, you want Odegaard leading the defense.
Eze frequently is underwhelming (today included) when he doesn't get on the score sheet, very much a moments player.
The decision to not play out of the back, especially after Dembele came off, was a head scratcher. But honestly we looked a lot like we did down the stretch against Bournemouth, Wolves, etc just playing very panicky.

I'm excited to see the next evolution of the team, I think we need to get more technical, and a good bit less defensive moving forward. It's ok to do that at times, and it almost worked today, but you leave things to chance when you can't keep possession or generate opportunities.

Kinda perfectly encapsulates my thoughts on the season, we excel at everything but lack enough game changers up top. Unfortunately that likely means parting with some well liked players at the club, but if we are to take the next step (Winning a UCL and continue competing for the PL every season) they'll have to ruthless in improving this attack.
