fricking tragic. I'm still steaming over this.

Just really shitty lineup decisions. You don't start 3 runners against a low block team. This should have been the lineup vs Villa away.

For a game like this, it should have been a Trossard/Vik/Saka with Eze & Odegaard/Nwaneri lineup with 1 one Rice/Zubi as the lone 6.

I didn’t end up watching. Went fishing instead.

But the not scoring enough goals is coming back to bite us. Last time I said that, we scored 7 in 2. We’ve now gone 2 premier league games with 0.

Should have had a penalty.

The draws will kill you. We can’t draw again against United. We’d have been better off losing one of these and winning one than drawing both.

I didn't watch either, seen some highlights. Gabby missed a sitter, rice could have scored one if he got a better kick on the volley. Saka had a header saved. Vik had a breakaway and got caught by the CB. Just not consistently creating enough clear chances.

Think I saw a stat that said of the 15 PL games we've won, 11 of them we started our scoring on a set piece or from a 2nd ball off a set piece. We are really good with them, but we've got to be better at getting open looks.

Increased the lead with a draw. No shots on goal. Not a bad outcome for the weekend.

Moyes getting it done for us. 7 points is a great lead at this point in the season.

Also I get we are all upset about the result yesterday. Win the last two and we are 11 points clear, I get it.

We need to look at this from a different perspective. Away games in the PL are very hard. We’re first in away game points earned with a 6-3-2 record. 21/33 points. People may say that’s not good enough, etc, etc; but nobody has a better away record than Arsenal so it can’t be that bad lol

The hysterical part of this table is spurs are 2nd in away games, but they’ve only won 4 out of their last 21 home games.

We get to 92 points, we win the league. LFG.

Considering the amount of points dropping going on with Villa and City and Villas insanely hard schedule to end the season, I think we will likely only need 85ish points to win the league.

Surely we can get 11 wins and a like 2 draws in the last 16. As long as we get a point at City, it will be over. Win at City and it is way over.

The whole thing 3 years ago and even 2 years ago was that a point at City still only meant we were 3 points ahead with 5 games left in 2023. And 9 games left in 2024.

We had way less room for error back then. This year say we go to City with a 7 to 10 point lead and draw, it is over because there would be 4 games left. We have bottled a few but no fricking way we bottle a 7 point lead post city with 5 games left.

The dream scenario is beating City away to win the league. I think we would need to be 13 up before the game and a win there wins us the league. Pipe dream but an amazing dream to get rid of the demons. It is shite right now but I think we are still going to win the league.

Still can’t believe these two things happened together:
1. Draw to Forest
2. Extend our lead

I’m frustrated in so many missed chances over and over and over again. Can somebody fricking make a play and hit the back of the net? And yet… we’re top of the premier league table, champions league table, and still going strong in the FA and League cups.

I’m impatient. And I want a fricking trophy! It’s been too long

The table NEVER lies. We are the best team. It’s extremely difficult to score against us. We haven’t conceded more than two goals in a match in almost two seasons.

Results at this point are all that matter. Big If, three points against United and the league is basically over.

This weekend worked out perfectly for us given we dropped the 2 extra points.

Yeah I was getting some angry texts so I figured we didn't win. Saw it was 0-0 and watched the highlights instead of the replay.

Orbinho posted some of our forwards premier league stats and if you take the names away, you could make an argument they all need to be replaced.

Own goal more clinical than our forwards in the premier league.

It's really just a balance issue in my eyes.

Against midblock teams we need runners in behind: Martinelli, Vik, Madueke.

Against low block teams you need the technical guys Trossard/Eze, Kai/Jesus, Saka.

Or even run with 2 10s

Feels like we've been doing the opposite the last few games.

Not bad.

He needs some game time and I don't think he's quite ready to play in the midfield for Arteta. He pretty much just plays at one speed and always attacking. At times you do need to slow the game down and keep the ball.

And this isn't like sending our attacking talent to a low block shite English team. Marseille are the leading scorers in Ligue 1.

I just worry about playing time. They've got a ton of midfielders already.

Looks like we are in the process of selling Zinny outright to Ajax. Glad we'll get something out of that, contract will be up in June
