Joe Cole on Nwaneri’s promise… Nwaneri is going to be an absolute genius. He’s the most exciting young footballer in England and maybe even in Europe. What he’s doing is incredible and out of this difficult period they’ve come out with him, when Saka and Martinelli get back, I’d move him inside and play a double 10 with Odegaard, i think that’s where he’ll end up. With the pace either side of them, they might have a say in the Champions League.

I’m assuming he means play nwaneri and odegaard as the two 8s

This is long term thinking but do you baws feel like Nwaneri, Saka, and Odegaard can coexist in the team together?

After this season we need to hoard attackers.

Ooooh I don't know. It seems possible but would Arteta want to give up physicality in the left 8?

I think if Zubimendi comes next season, left 8 is all set for Rice even though we were deadly last year with Rice as the pivot

I’d like to play with a double pivot/single 10/overlapping FBs and have the option of the 2 8s as well, I don’t think we are variable enough as it is for playing against certain teams

It would be smart to get a LB and have Cala as Gabriel backup. Maybe get a project CB for cheap to spell Saliba

Timber can also play on the left FYI... Or pretty much across the back tbh

Benny hasn't played the center half in a while, but he can do it too.

It's a blessing having 3 highly versatile fullbacks

Guess in my mind you play with a 10 and two cms behind.

I don’t even consider odegaard a 10 in our usual formation. He pretty much just stays in the right, you never really see him pop up on the left wing like Ozil would. So my mind can’t wrap around their being two 10s they would just be the right and left cam.

And in that scenario it be nwaneri, rice, odegaard.

Where did white play in this game? I don’t think I paid attention other than how tan he was and how short his shorts were.

In the other game he came in, Arteta put him at rb and moved timber inside.

Ben is 100% moving back to CB if Saliba leaves.

Though Timber could be there too. Timber and White are both so damn good

Most of the Arsenal ITKs and Fabrizio is saying Andrea Berta has a verbal agreement to come on as DoF. Expect official announcement next week

Ornstein reporting it’s done as well. Glad that is out of the way, need a big summer to take this final step

I’d be shocked if he played much - maybe a late 2nd half Cameo

Raya
Timber
Saliba
Gabriel
Cala
Odegaard
Partey
Rice
Ethan
Trossard
Merino

Martinelli is on the bench

A win here would be great today. Hopefully get a quick one to get United to open up a bit. They are going to park a hell of a bus most likely

I knew they'd score as soon as Trossard brought them down.

Season from hell baby

Truly a summary of our season

PSV so bad they made us look competent offensively

United parking the bus and we have 0 answers, once again

Going to take a set piece or a pen for us to get one in (Or an Onana frick up)

Arteta needs to go somewhere in the off season and figure out how to score from a low block.

Can’t really do anything about Bruno being a beast at free kicks other than stop giving up stupid fouls in spots he can take them.

Man all we needed was just one average striker on loan in January. We've been good up til the final third.

Dominate every single game even against City and Liverpool only to be outdone by bullshite of our own making
