I’ve heard Ramsdale was likely staying on.

Eddie & Reiss both probably going

He definitely wants to go somewhere for first team minutes. Problem is our valuation is probably 30 million and only a small amount of teams can afford that for a keeper (and they typically have a solid starter already). So I can definitely see a loan with an option or obligation to buy.
Hopefully we can get a decent fee for Eddie and Reiss which would be pure profit. They are both PL capable players but aren’t at the level we need if you are competing for the Champions League.

Not really happy about ESR leaving. We have few ball-carriers who can drive into the final third from midfield. We likely won’t need that very much, but the variation in play would be useful if teams start to figure us out.

Also this team is gigantic. We used to have a team of beautiful technical midget wizards and now it seems like we have the tallest team in the league.

I do like targeting Merino too, as he’s superb on the ball.

Quite the transformation. Gone from one of the worst defending set pieces and scoring from set pieces to the best in both.

He’s listed at 6’2, haha.

What was granit? 6’0? We lost a bit of height there if you play anyone but Havertz in the left 8. Well or rice but partey was hurt most of the year and Jorginho is shorter.

I mean he played like 200 minutes last year. It was clear he’s not in the plans moving forward. I’d imagine, based on Artetas comments, Nwarani is gonna to take up those minutes, plus more hopefully

While retaining our technical level. That's impressive work in terms of recruitment.

I feel like he was closer to 6'2. If he wasn't, he did seem to have a shorter torso and longer legs.

I don't understand this to be honest but I'm completely blinded by love for Arsenal academy graduates. ESR literally saved Arteta's job once he was introduced in 2020 or 2021 or whenever. He scored double digit goals in the league.

Maybe the issue was that he just wasn't the expansive, fluid passer that Arteta wanted from the left no. 8, and to be frank, it is hard to argue against Arteta's judgement at this point.

Assume it was that, and just not being able to stay healthy.

Excited for the final game in the USA. Mikel Merino is a great addition to the squad. Saw a stat where he won the most duels in La Liga or Europe last year I believe. Then he went and had a great Euros as well.

Window has been solid so far.

Raya
Merino
Calafiori

Three full-time great additions. Not to mention that Jurien Timber is basically a new player with getting hurt last year and not playing. Curious who they get to finish the squad in the window.

Edu and Arteta are pretty clinical with the people they're going after. Clear strategy and then move quietly. Never see any leaks until the deal is basically almost over the line.

Tough first half tbh. Zinchenko and Kiwior having a stinker.

Havertz scoring like usual, love to see that.

They outplayed us for about 30 min, and that was the difference in the game

ESR officially official. 27+7, supposedly sell on clause too.

All of the English & Spanish EURO players will be returning this week. I expect transfer market to pick up a bit
