Speechless WTF? As a parent of a former goalie, I feel for him. As a gunner fan I want to murder him. (Lol)
That lazy arse pass with nowhere to go damn sure didn’t help things but that’s all on him.
He didn’t have situational awareness on the play, one minute left to play, he should have immediately cleared the ball. He was looking to start a play, no one was open and he panicked. It happens, even to my son, (not that particular play his coached would have benched him for a month), but they have the ball on the attack all game and the defense and goalie start to relax, get lazy, etc. It’s human nature.
Really this is a good thing boys, let’s see if we have what it takes or not. It’s not always going to be easy.
