Stealing the win would have been glorious the way we completely flipped the momentum, but the way we played most of that game, I’m thrilled with the point. Fall a little off the pace but a lot of football to play yet.

Take the point, this tie definitely feels like a win. Didn’t play well, bad luck, bad conditions, but didn’t quit, made good changes, great subs and came back from 2 down. Good game mates. Sometime it’s just not your day, but when you can get a point on a bad day on the road, that’s a good sign

I was switching back and forth from football, how did my boy ESR do this game? He looked decent the last 10 minutes or so but didn’t see him sub in

Did Havertz do anything after coming on? I honestly don't remember him touching the ball.

Saw his name on the back of his kit once but if he did anything of note, I didn’t notice.

I think Havertz was great coming on tbh. He won the ball like 5 times. He's looking better no doubt.
For as shitty as I felt when we drew to a 10 man Fulham, I feel as equally as ecstatic drawing Chelsea away.
We were pure dog shite. Great comeback.
Champions get something out of games they have no business being in.

Havertz was excellent. We got bossed around the pitch for 70 minutes and got a result on the road. When Odegaard has his worst game for us and Arsenal get a point it feels like a win. Up the Arse!!!

We have played 4 of the "Top 7" adding Newcastle in the first 9 games.
United H
Spurs H
City H
Chelsea A
Still have Newcastle Away (2 weeks from today), Liverpool Away in December.
Because we have played more top 7 teams than the rest of our competitors, I think that's an advantage.
After the Newcastle game, I see no reason we can't go on a long arse win streak. Away at Villa and Home to Brighton will be our toughest games before we play at Anfield.

This
Plus the call against Havertz on Cucurella and the non call on Sanchez destroying Jesus in the box was just bollocks. We played horribly and still almost beat Chelsea away.

quote:Cant believe they didn’t call this. Missed the ball and destroyed the player. Ederson did the same against Eddie last season (actually wasn’t nearly as bad) and the penalty was given.

He got the pre assist.
He also got the foul called on him winning that header while Sanchez gets to clean out our player and not even come close to the ball.
fricking terribly reffed game.
He basically was on for 12 minutes and won more aerial duels than anyone else on the team.

Would love for Spurs to lose tomorrow so we can be the only unbeaten team through the first 9 games.

Lets hope Jorginho is better than last match. Same goes for Raya.
Is Zinny injured, or just giving Tommi the run?

My picture/stream isn't too great on paramount+ currently, but am I right in seeing tons of divots in the pitch? There looks to be holes/divots and clumps of grass all over the place.

Man Odegaard is anonymous so far.
Need him to step up. There is a big disconnect from defense to attack.
It looks like we are playing Emery U ball again.

What a fricking counterattacking goal.
Holy shite the little shimmy by Jesus and giving Martinelli an amazing ball

Looked poor the entire half, and somehow latched onto a break away counter after giving up a chance on the defensive end. Got real lucky

Real impressive hold up and vision by Jesus to lure in the defenders and then find Martinelli.
