The Saka decision bit Arteta in the arse

Yea starting him with one of our biggest matches of the season coming up doesn't make sense

Its the champions leeague? Arsenal are trying to clinch qualification. Why wouldn't he play?

He had to come off on Saturday for an injury. No reason to rush back with Man City this weekend

ETA: I’m pretty sure he’s started just about every game for us going back to beginning of last year, plus international

I don’t see us sniffing a goal in this game with this formation and group of players. It’s time to change something

Every time Arsenal break forward with the ball, they slow it down too much and the attack just stalls out.

Missing the pace of Martinelli and Saka. Time for Reiss to come on.

They take the lead after Fabio misses an easy one on the other end

This is a dreadful result as it stands. Saka gets injured, nobody but White gets rest, and they get 0 points.

Man City going to beat us like a drum if we play like this vs a press this weekend

last 7 minutes have been nothing but side to side passes

tried once over the top which got intercepted
and another to the wing who played it back to restart

doing a pretty good job of not trying to score a goal

Just wasn't their day. Trossard should have scored early in the second half. Lens had multiple blocks on or close to the line. Good defensive effort from them, but also the Arsenal attack looked lackluster.

Hope Saka is fine for Sunday.

They are really good at possession without any threat of scoring anything or really even threatening to score, unfortunately.

Props to RC Lens though they definitely deserved it

On another day Arsenal win that one. Lens played out of their boots, hats off to them.

Edit to say: I don’t think Arsenal played particularly well, but still could have gotten a different result.

Lens won’t be able to replicate that performance all year. They were amazing.

Tomiyasu was so unlucky not to score. Would’ve changed the game. Teams that are physical and high press us we never do well against I’m convinced.

It is what it is. Glad to get these losses in now and not in March - May.

Raya with the mistake.

I’ve been saying this.

Any game the pressure has been on, he flopped.

And I saw people blaming that Fulham goal on ramsdale, the one saka gave away. Raya would have been caught out too on that.

I want my keeper back.

Stop this nonsense. Raya's mistake still took a hell of a lot for Lens to score. They had a perfect counter.

Too bad Ramsdale isn't back there passing it to our opponents inside his own 18 yard box

That said, Raya wasn't amazing last night
