They've done well being physical and disrupting play... making the match ugly. It is definitely throwing Arsenal off.

I'll also add that our players continue to dribble or pass back into the congestion rather than switch the field. They also keep using their dominant foot only even if it's leading them out of bounds.

We’ve beaten their high press cleanly a couple of times and countered. But it’s hard to beat “mug and dive!”

Yep, they are being physical and making the match ugly. Our players haven't figured out how to deal with it yet.

Our guys seem to lack the typical hustle this match, not sure if they are tired. They are also taking far too long on the ball, keep it moving quicker please.

As good as Odegaard was last match, he's been very sloppy this match. Same can be said for pretty much everyone though. Arsenal lacking their usual execution. Passes not to feet, taking too long with the ball, not finding the runners.

Saka against Burn is a big mismatch and they haven't taken advantage of it this match.

Clear view of yet another foul, this time in the box, not called. I’ve seen penalties given for what just happened to Gabriel.

Is ESR available to sub today ? Not sure if we want to risk it with this physical style of play but we will need sone subs soon.

Arteta needs to be thinking about an attacking sub. Sad part is I looked at the bench and I don't like any of our options.

I think we need to drive into box as possible on run, as they will commit a foul eventually.

I agree that may be a signal of what we need in transfer window, ESR is probably available but no way he goes in this game

This match clearly shows Arsenal need to buy. They have no depth on attack or midfield. Blatantly obvious someone should have been subbed on, but there are no decent options available.

Has Arteta ever had a reasonable reaction to something?

Not even on the bench. We really need some offensive reinforcements.
Also there is a reason Newcastle have given up the least amount of goals in the league. They are a really tough team to place against.

Agree 100%, ESR will help but he is midfielder right. We need 2 more strikers, one short term term one long. They doubled and triple teamed Saka all night and the big O was off this game, Martindale tried, but we have serious issues on depth at attacking positions

Not good enough in front of goal. Not going to get many chances in a game like this. Have to finish them!

For me that was an incredibly disappointing match. The players were all far too sloppy today. None of the clinical execution we have come to expect.

Desperately need an infusion of attacking players. I shouldn't be upset getting a point against the 3rd placed team, but man we had this. Just couldn't do a damn thing in the attacking third today.

literally the only attacker on the bench today was Marquinhos, and he’s nowhere near ready. Definitely need ESR to get fit soon, hope Jesus’ recovery is going well, and get at least one new forward in the next couple weeks.

We saw that exact same thing first half last game, missing Jesus hurts. No damn way they double and triple team Saka with him on the pitch.

When we don’t get early goal, we really struggle. We can make Champions league with these guys but if they want to go for championship we need help. Maybe a loan and a purchase. Who is available?

Ref fricked us badly here. We should have had 2 penalties. One for the Gabriel shirt pull and the other at the end. Such fricking bullshite

if anyone in red does this it’s a straight point to the spot. It happens to us and we’re told to just get up and move on?
