i remember someone arguing with me about the talent on this team in the thread i believe
i stand firm when i say this team lack talent and depth
and that’s a problem when we bring in big contracts (partey, pepe) but fail to sell anyone worth a frick

Hopefully the dumb as frick Kroneke's will now realize that getting production like they did during the Wenger years wasn't the default. It covered for a lot of terrible cracks. The only things these ghouls understand is money, and maybe the threat of losing the money might spur some real action.

Reiss was reportedly healthy with for this game. He is probably in the doghouse.

what i dont understand is we have young guys that were banging in way more goals than phil phoden in the u18 and u23s yet they cant do shite for us or dont even get a chance.

Good first half, but we are barely surviving Chelsea crashing our midfielders, who they know can’t turn with the ball. Elneny has had two terrible giveaways, and Xhaka heaved up his foot for a ball that went ten yards, and lead to a half-chance for Abraham that Mari blocked. You can see Tierney yelling at Xhaka afterwards too, as it was unbelievably retarded.
At the same time, this also shows why Xhaka has to be played in a midfield 3. The presence of a forward option allows Xhaka to play a pass into space, and then also come forward and receive the ball facing the game. He’s threaded multiple passes through the left-center channel, just from the fact he has someone in front of him to play with. That Tierney is a willing runner is what is saving us, as Elneny is having a massive amount of trouble moving the ball to the right.

Xhaka still sucks, still too many times he or Elneny wont turn the ball up field and move it.
Xhaka had a good game today but that's like one in the league this season.

I'm happy with the win, but pissed that Arteta will now even more back Xhaka, who is straight trash.
Bellerin, Xhaka, and Elneny... yikes please enough is enough. Put AMN back in, and please get healthy Partey. They will still have a #'s shortage on quality people in the center though it seems.

Xhaka acting like a tough guy in his post match interview. Dude is still a loser. He brought up his red card and how "alot of people always talk" and how he is so mentally strong and how much he helped the team by being so strong today. frick off.
