I don't agree with that. I think Jack's smaller frame and better agility can be deceiving. Again he's excellent in that area, but he's held back by his huge reliance on his left foot.

No Welbeck or Giroud seems interesting

I remember we were talking about a similar lineup on this board. A very fast counter attacking side with Alexis or Theo up top, and on the wings two of Ox/Alexis/Theo with Ozil as the CAM feeding them through balls.

Walcott clearly very rusty that first half.

Ozil playing a bit deeper than Cazorla and Rosicky, but able to play some great probing through balls forward splitting the central defenders.

Sanchez with a few poor touches in potentially dangerous attacking areas.

Cazorla with some very nice aggressive dribbles forward near the edge of the box.

Disturbing to see the defense get beaten by #26 consistently, namely the fullbacks, but Per and Koscielny with some lapses back there as well.

It's a fluid front three of Ozil-Alexis-Walcott. And Cazorla and Rosicky obviously have a ton of freedom. Very good look for us in that regard.

Theo leaves Bellerin so exposed. Bellerin is going to have to improve his positioning to make up for it. I'd like to see him hang back and let Monreal roam on the other side. Sometimes Hector trusts his speed a little too much for my comfort but he's handled it well.

Coquelin has been a joy to watch. So glad he's come along.

Glad to see Ozil continue tool produce. 3 goals, 2 assists in four matches since his return and he obviously gets some credit for Walcott's goal. The attempt to set up the corner for our first was glorious.

That one possession where it appeared Arsenal had a break down the left which someone slowed down for whatever reason by passing it backwards and then gave it back to Ozil who had 5 defenders just in front of him and managed to roll the ball past 2 and set up a shot forcing the Keeper into a diving save was as Stewie put it, Magical. I could not believe he managed to get a shot off in that situation, much less a shot which forced the Keeper into a diving save.

One poor result and this team sulks back into terrible looking form defensively. UGH

I wish we had someone with Flamini's insanity on the field when that big Polish dude took down Ospina. Can't let teams do that. Wish Coq had gotten in his grill.

Arsenal are incredibly lucky Leicester is very poor in front of net. The defending this match has been terrible far too many times.

Unbelievable how a goal could change the match to such a degree. Arsenal look pretty crappy since the goal.

Sometimes were too reluctant to just boot the ball out of danger. We try to win 50/50s with touches to ourselves rather than putting a foot through it and dealing with it. And a couple unlucky bounces create chances for Leicester out of nothing.

BTW I don't know about this formation right now. There are 5 central players out there in the midfield. Rosicky is found central and so is Ramsey, there is literally no right winger out there to give Bellerin any cover.

Arsenal caught completely on the counter from their own corner, only to have a Leicester player completely ruin an attack with numbers and players in very dangerous positions. Once again, incredibly lucky that Leicester is poor in front of goal.

Now Ramsey asking for a sub on top of Sanchez with a knock to his knee, however bad, this is not good news at all. I am genuinely scared for the rest of this match now, with Flamini coming on and their current form out there.

That is a half I want to burn from my memory.

Incredibly sloppy play from Arsenal. They didn't look mentally strong out there, after the goal they seemed rattled and panicked. They let the physical play, and the referee's calls get to them and it showed.

I am pleased with the result considering how tight the race is right now. After a promising 1st half with some bright spots leading you to imagine what could be in the future we were then subjected to that near disaster of a 2nd half. Hopefully the club can shake it off and put that 2nd half in the rear view.

Did I miss this? You mean Giroud's Yellow at the end? Yeah that was crap.
