I see him more as a wide forward or second striker, but he has the ability to play up top... Don't know how well he'd do there every match in the PL... but like you said, you have OG

Are there any other rumored CF options for y'all, or do you think you're done in that area?

You mean will he actually wear the number 9 or just positionally? I think he'll wear number 7. Positionally I don't think he'll be an out and out forward for most games. I think Wenger still wants to play with a bigger target forward like Giroud who can come back, get the ball, and allow wingers and midfielders like Walcott, Sanchez, Ramsey, Chamberlain, Podolski, Ozil to run off him and behind the defense

apparently we pursued Mandzukic (according to fjortoft) but atleti offered more. not sure the timeline there with our sanchez move. i think remy could still potentially be a possibility.

i think against some sides, an attacking 4 of

alexis-ozil-ox
theo

would be incredible. that'd be a brutal counterattacking side. i think:

alexis/theo-ozil-santi/theo/alexis
giroud

will likely be our standard attacking four though. theo has played on the left before for us, but it's neither he nor sanchez's preferred positioning. will be interesting to see if we use one of them out there frequently.

I meant positionally... Sanchez and Walcott (assuming he comes back close to pre-injury) on the wings is going to be a handful...

You think that shite Giroud is wearing looks good? It almost looks like an off color gorilla suit with that white belly.

I'm not a fan of most of it. But I think I'll buy the home keeper shirt. Always wanted one and the black looks legit.

i think he or theo will feature there a lot more than last season. i'd still bet on giroud getting the majority of the matches at CF, but I could be wrong. hopefully arsene's post-signing comments will shed some light on what he sees him as.

I think we'll have a steady rotation and use it according to our opponent.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some tactical variation, either. There were times last year when we ran 4-4-2 needing a goal and looked really good. We'll see 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1.

I expect Sanchez will play on the wing mostly. Santi may be the odd man out in our best XI, but he'll certainly get tons of PT.

Yeah, I'd see Sanchez on the left ahead of Theo, cutting in. Theo can work inside out on the right and be really deadly, and Debuchy is capable of cutting inside.

Whats the latest on Debuchy? I haven't heard much lately due to the higher profile of Alexis Sanchez.

And should we get with the times and create a 2014/2015 Arsenal thread?
