Darren arsenal is also saying he'll have something that makes arsenal fans have a lot to discuss in 30 min or so and it's unrelated to tancredis news..

I'm ready...
For nothing.
For nothing.

he already said santi has been ruled out.
guessing Darren's news is Rambo out for the season announcement.
tancredi's will probably be exciting rumor but ultimately rubbish

Tancredi is pointing people to his podcast. Speculation is that its RVP to Arsenal chatter. Not sure I buy it.
Either way, I'd take the count back. He's gonna be a count anyway. Better if he can be our count.

our revenue across the board increased, had a 22m pound profit, currently have 140+m in the bank, 20ish of it we can't touch, so 120m to spend hypothetically even before the new deals kick in.

Not sure how I feel about this possibilty.

Certainly the positive way to spin it.

he'd be 31 next year...no spring chicken. i'd rather look elsewhere. anywhere else. as you've said, he's a count. and i'm not sure what the effect of him returning would have with our other players.

Tancredi is saying on Jan. 28, RVP's agent met with Arsenal/Wenger in London about summer transfer.
RVP has issues with 'technical leadership of team' and wants to come back with Arsenal.
"RVP wants just to go back to Emirates. And Wenger has said he wants RVP back."

So the news is RvP is coming back and that someone at Arsenal made more money?
All this turnover talk makes me hungry.

I can't stand him. But I won't pretend he isn't exactly what we need at CF.

The likelihood of him coming back is infinitely small. Man U won't sell, and the likelihood of Wenger paying his massive wages is even smaller. Don't see it happening.
I can see RvP leaving, but for another country. Also I don't think Man U will allow him to leave. He's under contract to 2016, so by the time he could force a move, next January at the earliest, he'd be 32, going on 33.
He's also on massive wages which not a lot of clubs can pay. Serves him right for not waiting things out.

that news today means we could spend ~140m this summer. go overpay for a healthy, young stud. sure he's a great player and exactly what we need, but it would upset me a great deal if we bought him back. (hopefully ManU wouldn't allow it)

Sums up how I feel about the news today.

my thought as well.
after all he did to get out of arsenal (chief of which to me is ripping our young players) and after all the stories that leaked about what a douche he was to everyone else, i just have no desire for that.

I think if Theo were healthy I wouldn't give two shits about RVP. His injury has me depressed and not seeing clearly.
