I am in the middle right. Just in front of the blonde headed guy with glasses. Auin02 is the short guy next to Pete, the guy in the beret. I don't think the rest post.

Gotcha. One of these days I will be able to make it back into Finns for a weekend match when we get a buy week in our own local leagues

rosicky back in the squad tomorrow. does ryo start since gnabry can't? or do we rush back rosicky? would be pretty shocked if we threw Rambo out wide right

Ramsey out wide was Wenger's go to last campaign though when we had a lack of wingers.

yeah, but that was prior to him playing like one of the best CMs in the world. would much prefer Rosicky wide right. hope Arteta starts tomorrow.

Would be beyond silly to put ramsey anywhere but box to box cm.

Nope. We had Gervinho, Ox, and Walcott healthy at the time. Ramsey was played wide right in order to control the midfield, a la Ray Parlour playing wide right for the same reason. A tactical decision made by Wenger.
If we play Rosicky wide right he will probably end up central anyway. But Tomas is a more natural wide midfielder than Rambo.

it's really interesting how our style of play has changed with Flamini instead of Jack or Arteta. We have held the ball less these past few weeks, but haven't really looked like we were going to concede (except when we did, i guess ) besides swansea's goal which was an excellent run and pass, their only other really good chance was Jack's through ball to Bony which wasn't a great angle for him to score, thankfully. it's kind of interesting because we really have some great counterattacking weapons now (something that will only improve with the return of Theo and Santi) which could lead to some tactical variety based on opponent. of course, with Ozil, we also have an improved ability to break down stubborn defenses when we have the majority of possession. that 10 minute stretch in the second half of swansea was outstanding. this team is so much fun.
i also can't believe how confident Gnabry is out there. his shaky 1st half against Stoke got out of his system quickly. he looked so damn confident Saturday. really nice finish for the goal too.

Kind of sad when you put it that way because it makes me think of the lack of amazing through balls I've seen from him on the correct side of the pitch.
Anyhow time for my traditional predict the line up...
I think I might have a problem (I spent 20 minutes on my mobile FIFA app just playing with formations and players on the original pack I got before playing anything or buying anybody to find the max chemistry in the formation I like the most)
-------Giroud--------
Jack----Ozil-----Gnabry*
---Flamini**--Ramsey----
Gibbs--Kos-Mert--Sagna
*I think he's not CL registered but is under 21 so it doesn't matter
** Wouldn't rush Arteta back for a CL away match just yet.. maybe use him as a sub though.

because of when he signed, he doesn't fall under the B category and from what I remember was not on the A list. that, plus him not having even been a substitute in any of our CL matches thus far, seem to indicate he is unavailable. there seems to be some confusion on that point though.
