3-1 seems a favored scoreline. This depth issue will sneak up on us, but right now we are looking pretty damn good.

ETA: Looks like we caught and passed the Liverpool thread.

Was a good game. Not sure the depth thing will catch up with us unless a really good player gets hurt. We already hit the injury bug and still can put out a solid squad. Vermalaen being back will only help with that. And weve been doing all of this without Arteta, who in my eyes had been our best most important player since he signed.

I was really worried. Ramsey and Jack have been playing well and Flamini gives good shape to our defense.

Depth is certainly an issue right now. It's on everybody's minds.
I feel like there are so many injuries right now and we are still getting results, we are actually one of the deeper teams out there.
When we start getting healthier, people will look back to this point and wonder what all of the complaining was about.

XI:
Szcz
Sagna Per Kos Gibbs
Wilshire Ramsey Ozil
Walcott Giroud Cazorla

Subs:
Fabianski
Vermaelen
Jenks
Rosicky
Arteta
Podo
Ox

Other:
Sanogo
Flamini
Nacho

That's a trophy winning squad. Just have to get healthy.

I didn't watch most of your game so I missed when he got hurt. Did he come off the field? The tweet I saw only said ankle, didn't mention what he did to it.

Santi was ruled out before the match.

depth is a huge issue. we have no attacking subs right now with any experience. until Mikel is back, we have no real MF subs.

with the champions league group play starting, that's a huge problem. we're relying on some guys who don't have stellar injury histories...

Yes. On top of that our group is so strong. I'd be very worried about getting out of the group at 100%.

I just think that depth is an issue at hand, but I was just realizing that if this entire team was healthy coming into the season, depth would not be seen as a problem.

I find myself holding my breath every time one of our boys goes down on the pitch. Its quite unnerving.

oh damn, i thought wed still have a week or so to get some people back.

Well yeah depth may be an issue. Vermalaen does help. You could always play gibbs in the midfield and still have cover in the back. But lets just hope we get everyone back sooner than later.

Atleast we don't have 3 matches in 7 days. Just 3 in 8.

finished watching the match. giroud's one touch football is so spectacular.

Theo should have had a hat trick.

flamini isn't being as positional disciplined as I had hoped. he had a decent match but gave it away a number of times and got way too far forward on multiple occasions.

jack is such a talent. he and özil had some nice combinations, but he just doesn't get the final ball right for some reason. he also wandered way more than santi does when playing LW. still think he should play deeper. hope gnabry gets a turn out there.

kos' penalty was just stupid.

Reading arseblog. Ramsey, ozil and wilshere completed 199 passes. Coined it Ramshozil.

Also read where Ramsey has completed 19/20 tackles in the EPL this season. He leads in that category.

Ramsey is just on fire this year. So glad he has finally brushed off that injury.

4 clubs have scored more goals than Giroud, 4 have scored the same amount, and 12 have scored less. Hope the injury isnt anything serious.

Jack has been fouled 12 times already this season. Thats only the amount that have been called. hes obviously giving people fits and just needs to work on his game in the final 3rd. I feel like he will get there with more time just like Ramsey has.

It is great to see him playing so well. I think Gary Speed's suicide had more of an impact than the injury. He has been through a lot of things for a person so young in their career.

That is just absurd.

ramsey is a star. I said before the year this would be a gundogan-esque breakout season for him. so far, that seems to be the case.

which reminds me, we need to stop wasting our time going after gundogan.we can't get him, he's too expensive and he's too much like rambo and Jack. bender though, we could use.

I hope we target a speedy LW or a more athletic striker.

özil completed more passes in the final third yesterday than any other player has in a match this season.
