Anyone else afraid that Portugal is going to get torn a new one on Thursday?

I have a feeling that they could easily lose 3-0 or 4-1 to this counter attack Ghana team. We need to beat Germany.

we just need to draw germany. A draw gives us 5 points, even with a win ghana can only get 4.

I am not afraid this will happen but I am pretty certain. Ghana's midfield is going to make mince meat out of them.

Especially because Portugal knows not only do they need to win, but they probably need to win by at least three goals to have any chance of advancing. This means I think they'll play extremely wide open, and against Ghana, that could mean two or even three counter-attack goals against.
The more I think about it, the more I feel a loss against Germany could put us in big-time trouble. I just feel this Ghana-Portugal match is setting up for a 3-1 Ghana win, which means a loss will eliminate us. Hope I'm wrong (or that we won't even have to worry about it, because we'll do what we need to do).

I think we draw Germany and Portugal/Ghana is also a draw.

Sounds easy enough.

Ronaldo can't possibly have three bad games in a row, right?
That Ghana back line is not exactly impenetrable.
Pepe will be back also for Portugirl

Yep, our advancing is a very very shaky thing. Need to pick up a point against Germany.

Earlier I posted.. Wouldn't it be real shite if the US beats Ghana and ends up being knocked out by them anyways?

Sulley Muntari is out vs Portugal as well.
Portugal should be loose and going for lots of goals.

I'm worried that Ghana is going to run them ragged. We basically owned Portugal and Ghana is better than us.

Portugal should play much better defense against Ghana than they did against us. Ghana won't have Muntari so I'm curious as to what they'll do in his absence.

I forgot about Muntari - he is a big part of that midfield. Portugal plays lazy though and I have to think that they know there chances are slim.
