Algeria out. What a terrible showing by the defending champs. I guess City will be glad to have Mahrez back.

I believe Algeria were undefeated in 35 matches before the Equatorial Guinea loss too. Then smashed by Ivory Coast.

Can't believe nobody mentioned that Comoros qualified for the knockout stages in their first ever international tournament.

And then, due to COVID and injury, they have only 11 players and NO GOALKEEPERS for their Round of 16 match. Have to play with no subs and an outfield player in the net.

so that's how they were able to do it

next time others try doing coups... they'll learn to do it during a major sporting event so most people don't even know about it

and from reading that article... 1 could infer that they died from COVID

50K people trying to get into a 60K capacity stadium to watch the host nation play where attendance is being restricted due to COVID regulations... leading to the stampede/crush
