No, you misunderstand me. You act as if borders are intractable, when throughout human history people have moved and borders have changed. This is a product of globalization, and its silly to call someone a traitor about national identity, which is an especially confusing thing.

That's ridiculous. While second generation immigrants can certainly feel a connection to more than one country, you can't expect them to choose their parents' country over their country of birth, or vice versa.
