Happy Anniversary, Landon Donovan!
Three years ago today, I didn't start watching soccer...I started loving it. Over in another part of South Africa, we knew England would grab a win, giving them five points and forcing us to win in order to advance from group play. Well something special happened about 45 seconds into stoppage time.

I had the pleasure at coming in to Baton Rouge from out o town and being at Plucker's.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I couldn't believe it had taken me 19+ years to start watching soccer.
I was working at a day camp where I went to high school. When we scored I took the giant American flag that was on the wall and started waving that bitch like crazy. I was in charge of 5 and 6 year old boys. I'm pretty sure they had no idea what was going on by by God they were excited

On that day I believe I just got home from work and I missed the first half and part of the second. Hell of a feeling when they got that goal.

I'm at the bar just hugging everyone I can. Pluckers was the best place possible to watch a game. Cheap drinks and packed as many people as could fit. Moment shall never forget.

well shite, now I'm starting to rethink my 2014 venue. pluckers or varsity?
