Bacary...

No rage, I'm glad for him. Cashing in at the end of his career. He won't supplant Zabaleta as the first choice RB. Sagna was a great player for us, City is overpaying on the wage scale.

Yeah, I'm hesitant but optimistic.

By the way, da frick is going on with Yaya? World Cup is over, he should be 'reviewing options' now.

ETA: Or whatever it was his agent was saying during Birthdaygate.

ah, don't get me started. i hate complaining about someone of his quality, but shite arse attitude is killing me. him and his agent are continuously whining about these chicken shite little things. if we could get good money for him, i'd take the money and run.

Second choice right back at 100K a week? Yeah, starting FA Cup and League Cup matches is worth that outflow of cash. I love him and always will, but he couldn't beat out Debuchy for France.

How do you guys see the forward position pecking order? Obviously Aguero is the #1 option when healthy IMO. But he does seem to get injured a decent amount. I feel as if Negredo, Dzeko, and Jovetic are all really talented goal scorers.

I like the young matija nastasic, but Will another good center back enter the picture soon via transfer? I am not a fan of Demichelis being our first team CB along VK4. Heard that City was really interested in Benetia, but he is now likely Chelsea-bound. Heard rumblings about buying Mangala but apparently some pieces would have to depart to make it work financially.

Aguero/Dzeko
Jovetic
Negredo off the bench

Obviously this assumes Jovetic and Aguero stay healthy.

I would like to see Guidetti get a chance as the #4 striker. Surely he could have played better than Negredo the second half of the season.

Guidetti will probably be sold this window.

Not sure why Sagna at 100k is a big deal. They payed 0 for him. It's a steal at 100k a week on a free just to give Zaba a break every now and then.

As far as Yaya:
quote:

City Watch @City_Watch · 4h
Yaya Toure: "I need to do something for the fans, it's important to let them know. They've done a lot for me."

City Watch @City_Watch · 4h
Yaya Toure: "It's a big pleasure to stay and enjoy the next season."

City Watch @City_Watch · 4h
Yaya Toure: "I want to stay. I will always honour my contract. I don't think about all this speculation."

We'll see what happens.

Eh, they got him on a free and City has more than enough to pay him. His yearly wage will be 5.2 million€. That is less than he would have been if they had to buy him from Arsenal before wages. It was good business by City.

he's getting paid 120k pounds a week. maybe net that comes out to whatever euro figure you listed. that's a shite ton of money for a 30+ year old who i guess will be a backup. good for him. apparently he was stuck at 50k/week for 6 years at arsenal. he deserves to get paid. this a pretty wild contract figure.
