Just spent the last 20 minutes watching Stach and BA play Rocket League against some U-21’s - pretty funny. BA let loose.

The owner at the time was an italian count named Cellino who had some count from italy in Leeds waiting for a medical. He was a striker who ended up getting capped by italy (andrea paverelli or something) we were supposed to be adding another player or 2.

Remember those days well. Cellino owned Cagliari and it was hoped that Leeds would benefit from his contacts with that club and with Serie A in general. The only impactful player that I recall him bringing to Leeds from Italy was Sol Bamba (RIP). Never a dull moment with Cellino. The sacking of managers was a daily routine for that guy. I will give him credit for addressing the GFH mess and for initiating talk about buying Elland Road (aka Church) back.

Yea Cellino was a psycho but at least got us pointed in the right direction after Bates and GFH. Also brought in Radz who brought in Marcelo.

Radz was a less bent version of Cellino and was able to get us over the line and back to where we belong. His tenure as owner was only marred by Kinnear (see the toffees) and Orta (see Sevilla) but overall he was competent. I think 49ers Enterprises has assembled a top front office. The challenge will be keeping it together.

We thinking Gabby will be back in the starting lineup this weekend? Or keep easing him back in and let the new fella have a crack at it?

Probably stick with the same defensive lineup at least one more week. I think the league cup is next week so we could see some debuts (unleash Bahoya please boss)

Yeah I think Elvedi for Rodon and Wilson for Brenda will be the only two changes.

These times are uncharted waters for Leeds..... started the year well with 4 points out of two tricky matches, advanced in the cup with a rotated side, moved players on to new clubs who did not have a place here (with potential future fees), and completed a good transfer window with cover we actually needed

Not sure I've ever seen things so nice

Has to be the most stable the club has been since the 90s or early 2000s. Feels good knowing we’ll have a punchers chance in every game we play this season. Completely different feeling than year 2 last go around (or even the first half of last year)

Surely Farke extends during the double international break?

The old Bamford hamstring recovery program

Good thing is Rodon has always been a pretty quick healer

That sucks, but not surprised given how he pulled up and went down straight away.

Rodon is a pretty tuff customer and plays through things, for him to get subbed off immediately knew it wasn't good

So let's say the worst case scenario is he returns for the spuds on 11/7. That would mean that he misses:
@Brighton
Chelscum (cup match)
Bar Codes
Palace
@Arsenal
Scum
@mackems
@Bournemouth

That's a difficult stretch. Elvedi and Bard both seem to be durable because they will have to play a massive role in our continued (hopefully) success. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery.

Was really impressed with Elvedi. Bijol i think will slide over and play RCB with Elvedi in the middle and Tarik LCB. Then you have Justin who can play there too so hopefully those guys stay fit. We need Ampadu in midfield.

Yes. I think we have some options now. If Joe can return in 8 weeks that would be ideal.

Just hope Joes hamstring doesn’t take the DJ route and screw up an entire year

If that's the case then we need to hold on until January and bring in another CB or sign Leite as cover. I believe that he's still available.
