This will be a bad signing for Casemiro. Salary is outrageous. We’ve seen already how this plays out for them after the Pogba and Sanchez sagas.
United are turning into PSG….club so desperate but with recent stigmas that turn off the players that prioritize their careers, Winning and achieving their highest possible level as a player.
Yet here we are again with this massive corporate run club spending massively on a 30-year-old that’s won everything there is to be won and is almost certainly not going to give a shite when it comes down to it.

Yeah I guess but it would be so obvious he’s just doing it for a huge payday
Guess when you’ve won everything there is to win, a new experience seems pretty attractive
Like you said, Massive payday and he’s won everything a player can dream of over his career.
This will be Sanchez 2.0, except United backers will point to the fact he’s a DM and that his worth doesn’t truly show on the stat sheet (which it truly doesn’t) but it will downplay their reality of the club only attracting back end career players seeking a payday.

Don Carlo confirmed at his press conference the transfer will happen
I understand how some people view it as a bad move, but he doesn’t seem like the sand bag type of player.
It’s a position of need but it’s not a long term solution
He will stabilize the midfield until some of the youngsters step up or we bring in complimentary pieces of the midfield the next few windows
As for the cost
It’s cheaper transfer fee and wages wise than FdJ and he actually wants to come to United for a new challenge

Got any links for his current and new wages?

Rumors I’ve seen are that his salary is being doubled to €10 mil.

Fabrizio says small increase. Definitely interested to see bc imo it’s a move to stack cash. Hopefully I’m proven wrong.

People would be gushing if someone signed De Bruyne for that price on 300k a week. Casemiro is in the same category of being a world class player just doesnt put up the G/A due to being a 6. They are the same age btw

Fulham in advanced talks to sign Neal Maupay from Brighton in £15m deal. Still work needed so not done, but discussions advancing towards agreement. #FFC now firm favourites for 26yo striker ahead of Nottingham Forest & Everton @TheAthleticUK

Did you just compare Casemiro to KdB?

Boy, are you gonna be disappointed

Different position obviously but same level of player imo

KdB is the best player in the world, Casemiro just lost his job to a 22 year old from Monaco.

Casemiro will play at higher level for a longer period of time at his position than KDB will at his position.

Casemiro will be old by the time United sort out the utter disaster that is their roster and the rot within their club at the moment. Total waste of money. Love to see it.

Casemiro is not in the same neighborhood as KDB
