I don’t want to do it but I’m probably going to talk myself into waking up at 6 to watch Burnley-Spurs Sunday morning

At this point I’m wondering if Marcelo could have got the same points Marsch did after getting the axe.
This teams attacking has been so terrible, but I understand the injuries etc

Leeds needs to stop shooting themselves in the foot with these red cards. Maybe Marsch should tell them to idk stop getting red cards or something

Stop getting red cards and stop conceding 5 minutes into a game

Probably wouldn’t have beat wolves but would’ve played better at home vs Southampton and probably palace so probably a wash. Brighton was always a bad matchup for Bielsa ball. The only time he lost to brentford was after that disastrous wigan game where we had already bottled it. Maybe a more zonal system can grind something out against Brighton. The attack is just so depressing. Being down to 10 doesn’t help but even against palace we looked pretty toothless.
I fricking hate this season. I will be devastated if we go down. Had so much momentum entering this year. It’s unfair to pin this all on Marsch but doing shite like playing Raph at wingback while Robin Koch is playing a more attacking role is a good way to put yourself in the firing line

At this point if we go down does that mean we essentially lose players for peanuts.
For Raphinha for example, instead of being able to sell him at a high price he has a release for next to nothing?

A lot of dudes will basically enter tPortal
Raph allegedly has a relegation release clause but i don’t know how ironclad it is and it may have only applied to last season but if we have to sell him for say 30 mill under his real value i will jump off the huey long bridge
Meslier, Koch, Llorente, Struijk, Kalvin, Harrison, Bamford, Raphinha, Rodrigo would all almost certainly go. Maybe Struijk and Harrison would hang around another year but they’ll all have suitors. Some Spanish club would probably at least take Firpo on loan. We’d probably be begging someone to take James.
I imagine some teams would be interested in Joffy but both him and Greenwood would get a ton of minutes next season at Leeds.
Hard to see Cooper leaving because of how invested in the club he is. The rest of the 30+ crew like Ayling, Klich and obviously Dallas with his injury would likely stay but i imagine they’d be demoralized having to go through the fricking championship gauntlet again.
This is all so depressing. Just stay up lads. Even if it only takes a point. The peace I’ve made is if we can’t get a measly result against Brighton and Brentford do we really deserve to stay up? It’s been an adverse season but if it comes to beating one of those two teams and we can’t get it done then whatever. Not like our last 2 games are city and Liverpool.

Honestly if they don’t get at least 4 points out of these last 2 then they don’t deserve to stay up

Last home game. Gotta get something there.

To an extent you're right, but damn do they miss some sitters. Or make absolutely baffling decisions in the box. That City game could've and should've been 4-3 at least.

Missing your number 9 for 7 months will do that to you

That coincides with Burnley picking up 10 points in 4 matches from April 17 to April 30.

Worst case scenario and Leeds gets relegated, how much trouble would it be to catch games in the Championship?
Posted on 5/13/22 at 12:26 pm to TheJunction
I know ESPN+ has at least some games but I don’t think it carries the full schedule.
Posted on 5/13/22 at 7:16 pm to MOT
There are games fri-sun and tues-weds
The big clubs will be espn+ on the most.
LUTV sells match passes for like $7 or you can buy a season pass and they show the games that aren’t on tv
However this is all moot because we are staying up lads.
