Am I forgetting a bunch of guys or is it super rare to guys truly in their prime transfer from big clubs in other leagues to the PL? The move is being forced by Juventus getting themselves hung up on FFP but it’s still really impressive if Spurs can pull off this move

He’s going to want £10+ million a year after taxes
Good luck

You’re going to be so butthurt if we sign him.

Of course we wanted him
But it’s nice to see the club stick by saying it’s going to fix its wage structure

United: gets strong defense
Also United: sees Periera, Fred, Mctominay, and lingard as good enough

I actually like all 4 of those players, and think on good days any could start for us. Just not 2 of them at a time. Who knows? Maybe Fred will breakout and show why he was worth the money this year.

This is a funny way to say that the player had no desire at all to play for the club.

And now looks like the Spurs deal will be off as well
His wage demands and the company that owns his rights are a problem

The Guardian is now saying
For Dybala to move to Spurs they will have to sell Eriksen to finance the move

Don't know how I feel about that.
Would rather not sell him at all and don't sign Dybala. But then you lose him on a free.
Sell him out of the Prem if anything. Frick selling him to United, even if they are the highest bidder.

I’m down. We need a midfielder, they want Dybala. Give us Eriksen and then we can both come top 4. I’ve got nothing against Tottenham

Same. If Eriksen were to sign a new contract, and was happy I’d be all for him staying, but he’s not going to do that, and I’d much rather sell him to a club in a different league and get someone like dybala in return.
That said I’m still not convinced levy brings anyone in.

I thought it was already confirmed that if Eriksen left they would definitely at least bring a replacement in.
