Atletico have gone to La Liga demanding they block the Griezmann transfer by denying Barca from registering him as a player

Spurs would have to do a player+cash to get him. No way they pay the cash of his value.
I hope Dybala does go, he needs to be appreciated and get the PT he deserves. He's not a backup.
The spending by Juventus, especially them wanting Icardi so bad is asinine. The move for the dutch back was a great move, but then it's asinine wants.
I guess they want 15 midfielders who all play the same spot.

Arsenal dodged a bullet. Ceballos is confirmed.

And what would his value be? He has stagnated and it’s not even like he rides the pine. He started 24 games last year in serie a and only accounted for five goals and four assists.
I wouldn’t pay more than €75 mil for him. How many teams need a natural 10? He isn’t effective out wide and can’t drop deep. He also isn’t a prospect anymore so the original hype tax can’t even be applied.

He is just like Ozil in regards to his preferred role. Nobody uses a natural 10 behind the forward anymore. He also can’t play up top effectively by himself.
He was born 10 years too late for his skill set.
I thought he should have moved last summer if the chance came. He definitely needs to leave if the chance comes.

I think his best fit would be to find a team who play a false 9 type of game similar to how Barca used Messi under Pep. I'm not sure which teams off the top of my head play that attacking style but I do think Dybala could find his old form if used in that way

Agreed.

Almost no one does. One place I could see him fitting is Liverpool in the Firmino role, but he won’t want to share that much time I’m sure.
Like I said above, the system he is best for just isn’t used anymore. For almost all teams that play with the intent of attacking use a version of the 4-3-3. It’s just where the game is at the moment.

Weird move here....Douglas Luiz has moved from City to Villa for £15 mil.
Pep wanted him to be with the first team this year, but he supposedly wasn’t going to qualify for a work permit....so idk if the situation changed or what for Villa to make this move. It must have.
There is also an unreported buy back clause.

I just read that the transfer is subject to a work permit being issued.
