I don't think anyone is against winning a trophy, but I will be the first to admit give me the league or CL over FA cup or League cup any day. Those two always take the precedence so I have no problem giving young guys experience in the other games.

Sadly there were times the past few years where our U-23's basically was our "depth" for any kind of squad rotation

yeah, and I've only see people say that situationally (e.g. with our injuries and other comps, I don't care if we bow out playing kids)... either way, who cares what a couple of outliers think... I'm sure you could find fans from every club that thinks that..

He could play as a 10 at Pool and act as a built-in insurance plan if a bigger club comes for Salah. I don’t see that happening though.
I also don’t see him leaving Dortmund for at least another window or two but it’s still fun to aimlessly speculate

If he goes to Chelsea, we should probably give up on him. He’d just join the loan army and be misused in a Belgian team for a few years before being sent to the MLS
