This could easily be it. I haven’t noticed any of the usual Spurs guys who are around during the season doing it. I thought it was just a few randoms who came out of the woodwork.

i honestly wouldn't even do it, and haven't really until just recently. it's just that the irrational hatred towards tottenham on this board doesn't make sense (i know i've made this point before). it feels like posters copying english fans views and beliefs towards the club, and repeating. It just seems disingenous.
I can understand english football fans disliking certain clubs due to personal interactions on a day to day basis with fans of those clubs, but for a bunch of americans on a soccer board to talk so much shite about a club that 1) isn't really a bandwagon type club (historically a decent team but not top level) 2) doesn't throw around stupid money for players and 3) is a fairly likeable team outside of a couple players (i get the dele ali hate)...just doesn't feel legit.
so i've had fun pushing back. and i'm obviously not the only one. It’s just that people like you mccaig and a few arsenal fans are really easy targets.
