Show me a recent City academy player whose career has gone to shite from City buying them? Sancho, Foden, Iheanacho, Fofana, etc....May not all be at City still, but they are getting first team minutes somewhere. You act like they just sink into a pit of irrelevance
I should have said City career none of them ever have a chance
Roberts another example. Went to irrelevancy in Scotland.

He played when healthy. Got hurt last year and Forrest was just better.
Not really anyone’s fault but his body’s.
He also turned down loan moves to Ligue 1 last summer. He was the one who wanted to stay at Celtic. Can’t help it if a guy has zero ambition to improve.

The Magpies are also interested in Andros Townsend but Crystal Palace want around £30m for the 26-year-old winger. (Times - via Newcastle Chronicle)
Newcastle winger Matt Ritchie is a £15m target for Championship sides Middlesbrough and Stoke. (Telegraph)
The prices for these no-mark players in England are insane.

He went on a two season loan to play in Europe, get match time, and get training from Rodgers. He's back at City now.
I love, however, that your argument didn't/doesn't apply when Arsenal and Liverpool sent players to DeadCo when they were in the Scottish lower leagues.

I'm sure that it would apply, he just wasn't responding to a post about Arsenal or Liverpool.

Of all the clubs Pulisic has been linked to Chelsea would be the hardest one to accept, and maybe the only club that I couldn’t really root for.
