Multiple sources say ADM's agent is in Paris to finalize his move

you believe this

quote:

Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria has reportedly agreed a five-year deal with PSG, according to French newspaper Le Parisien.

The report suggests the Argentina international has given his word to the French club that he will join them this summer.

It is thought talks between the two clubs are progressing and a £42.8m fee is likely to be agreed.

and then this comes out

quote:

Despite reports in France linking Angel Di Maria with a £42.8m move to PSG, the Daily Express claim Manchester United have not given up on a swap deal for the Argentine winger with striker Edinson Cavani.

The report claims PSG have bid £40m for Di Maria but United have asked about Cavani.

United value Di Maria at around £50m but have reportedly told the French champions they would be happy with a straight swap for Cavani.

Which makes alot more sense. But PSG will not let Cavani go.

DiMaria will be at United come end of deadline day.

Stoke City have announced they have completed the signing of Moha El Ouriachi from Barcelona.

The 19-year-old is now free to take part in the club’s Barclays Asia Trophy match against Everton, which is live on Sky Sports 1 from 10.45am this morning.

Stoke chief executive Tony Scholes said: “He’s excited about joining a Premier League club, especially one that already has two former Barcelona players in their squad. Moha has seen the progress made by Bojan and Marc and wants to try and do likewise.”

LOMBAERTS FAILS SUNDERLAND MEDICAL

There’s more news from the Stadium of Light and it's our understanding that Nicolas Lombaerts has failed a medical with Sunderland.

The Belgian international defender was close to competing a £5m switch from Zenit, but now Sunderland must look elsewhere after the 30-year-old failed to complete the move.

Sigh.... What's Johnny Evans up to these days? Is he anything more than a squad player for United at this point? He's the guy everyone really wants on the Sunderland boards.

Paris Saint-Germain are closing in on a deal for Tottenham midfielder Benjamin Stambouli, according to the London Evening Standard.

The 24-year-old was thought to be on the verge of a £5.5m move to Watford last week only for the deal to collapse after the player learnt of PSG’s interest.

The French champions are looking for a replacement for Yohan Cabaye, who joined Crystal Palace and are also looking to improve their homegrown quota.

I'll have zero problem paying 60+ mil for him. Newsflash, the difference between 30 mil-60 mil is absolutely nothing to City.

KDB hasn't signed his extension at this point for a reason. He's going to wait and see if he can get a better wage package elsewhere while he's hot, whether that's from Bayern or PSG. I think to have any shot City will definitely have to offer closer to 50 mil or maybe 55.

His club could match that, its all about leveraging a new deal.

18 months.

If City offers 60 mil and wages around 200-220,000 a week, he'll go.

Spurs are interested in Batshuayi, but I don't see Marseille selling him. With Gignac gone, he will be the starting striker for OM.

that 60 million is chump change to his club

you know who owns them right?

if they want to they can offer those wages as well

not every player is like Sterling just jumping ship for the best wages.

Offering him those kind of wages would be insane and would make him the highest earner at City.

PSG make a bid for Stambouli. Rumored there could be a swap with Rabiot.

Shot in the dark here, but Volkswagen owns it right?

Having the ability to offer those wages and doing it are totally different.

I'd say 90% of pro players, depending on how old they are, take higher wages over staying in the Bundesliga on a team that won't win a title or probably even compete for one to go to the BPL and compete for one immediately.

Well he won a trophy last year and came in second, unlike City and already didn't work out once in England and wanted to leave.

Wolfsburg is a pretty solid team. They'll finish somewhere in the top 3. Bundi should be strong this year with Gladbach, Dortmund, and Wolfsburg all having good teams. Plus Schalke and Neverkusen fighting it out like usual.
