The real winners:

The unlikely winners in this deal are QPR who receive 20% of the fee, so £8.8m rising to £9.8m for them. Not a bad sell-on clause.

Guess Raheem's fee when he transfers to Stoke in three years. I'm going to say 17 million.

Yeah, the fee is obviously high, but I'm ultimately fine with it.
yeah, seems we both got what we wanted... its not like you guys can't afford it, so what does it matter in the end?
TBH, I think Sterling is extremely talented and has the potential to be great, even world class... I think he has terrible advisors and hope they don't ruin his career.. He's not our problem anymore...

Nah, they run their teams(psg, man city, etc) like they do their lives. It's not their money, it's riches they stole from the people generations ago, so spend that shite like it's on fire.

And my guess is that Pool's already spent it.
£49 mill for Sterling. Game's a bogey.

From his clothes I would've guessed UPS pulled off a transfer coup.

Almost as bad as DiMaria/Falcao

Di Maria makes 160k a week and is a world class player. If you pay 45+ million for a player you expect world class. Sterling isn't
Falcao was a fail of a loan

Sometimes you just have to pay to get the guy you want. Sterling is a perfect fit for what City need and have been lacking the past 2 seasons.
Everyone seems hung up on the money. Who gives a shite? It isn't my money. It isn't yours.
We just landed a 20-year old HG winger with great potential. He's going to be NASTY with Silva and Aguero.

That cost a shite load of money in wages.

He didn't come close to living up to that ridiculous fee and it looks like MU is about to take a loss on him. World class my nuts.
