However, due to the Spanish and European champions' current transfer ban, the player will not be able to play for them until Jan 2015.
2016....right? Assuming so, does he just train with them until then?

Will he even crack their first XI? Nearly 40 million for a player who probably won't start and can't play until he's essentially 29. Transfers just become more ludicrous every year.

Yes. Seems an odd fit to me and I really like Turan as a player.

Arturo Vidal and Paul Pogba will stay at Juventus this summer, insists the club's CEO Beppe Marotta. "About Vidal those are only rumours", he told Sky Sports Italia. "We have a good feeling with the club. Pogba? Many words have been said, but Juventus don't let their most important players go. "He's a player who will be part of the group of next season," Marotta added.

Yeah I really don't understand the Turan move personally.

Seems like he will be a Cup player for them. At his age and that fee it just doesn't make sense to me. I really thought he was going to go to Chelsea. That outside mid trio of Hazard, Willian and Turan would make for some solid squad rotation. Guess Cuadrado is staying, but Turan is a better player.

I think he'll get plenty of time in all competitions. He's versatile, and neither Barcelona nor Real Madrid can really run the risk of relying exclusively upon a core group of players, as Real Madrid elegantly demonstrated last year.

Enes Unal to City was made official today.
I'm patiently waiting for the Sterling bid, and by patiently I mean i'm stressing literally every day because i'm worried we won't sign a freaking soul who has scored in a game of any relevance.

Possibly is the key word haha.....
I saw that Barca had put a clause in Turan's transfer giving them the option to "sell back" or what I suppose is void the transfer until July 20. Is that date significant because of the Barca elections?

Liverpool are facing the prospect of a tribunal in order to settle a dispute with Burnley over the fee for striker Danny Ings.
Ings, 22, agreed a move to Anfield on June 8, but the details of the transfer have still not been agreed by the two clubs, sources have told ESPN FC.
Even though Ings' contract at Turf Moor expired on June 30, Burnley are still entitled to compensation for him because he is under 24.
Liverpool have offered around £6m for the England under-21 international, while the Clarets are looking for a fee of closer to £10m.
Burnley accepted a 12 mil offer from Tottenham in June which would go into consideration regarding the tribunal.
