Go to a Russian match.
They'd be shocked that an American showed up ( and cared) but nice.
Zenit is a global club now. I
If you follow them on Twitter, they have fans from Peru to Bangladesh.

Thanks, S.
I support the Russian people too. Imagine growing up in Soviet Omsk, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, or Vladivostok.
It builds character.
Unlike entitled arse clowns from where I'm from in So Cal.

Man U and Real fumbling through this transfer has been high entertainment.

in this war of ego, real still comes out way ahead (assuming the deal doesn't go through)

I think that Real has handled De Gea beautifully.....no one should pay top dollar for someone they can get on a free with a little patience.

I don't disagree, but I was more referring to the posturing of egos by both clubs.

It's probably not good business to burn bridges like that. Where did CR7 come from? No imagine if Real had manipulated DDG a few years prior. CR7 would NOT have been sold to Real.
These super clubs are few and buy and sell from the same pool of players. They do not want to burn bridges pulling nonsense like offering a huge contract and bonus to a player to sit out for a year so they can get him free next summer. Real and Man Utd have done business many times before. Neither wants to end the relationship this way.
It also takes a very special person to sit out a whole year. DDG probably doesn't want to spend the next year training with the youth squad and shut out from the first team. It would be a long miserable year for him. Don't imagine he's have much freedom to come and go either. Or they could loan his arse to Siberia FC for the winter. Literally freeze his arse out.

So Real made very fair offers for DDG, regardless of what the ManU boys on here tell you. £25 mil is a fair price for De Gea. Hell £21 mil is also fair in my opinion(especially with Navas).....Louie was crazy with his demand for the highest GK fee ever in this situation.
If any bridges were burned LvG started the first fire.

I'm really curious how DDG psyche will be. I hope LVG puts him back in the squad, but really wouldn't be surprised if he isn't.
