Sounds good, KdB isn't going to scare anyone out wide.

At least he'll be a threat to score unlike Navas haha.

Navas is a less hard working Willian.

Navas never wanted to go to England. He has serious mental issues. Not joking.

quote:That's not the way I know the story. My understanding is his panic attacks are mostly a thing of the past, which is why he was willing to move to City. I obviously don't know him personally. So I have no idea if he's mentally in a better place or not.

I haven't read anything about them bothering him since he's been there though.

I don't think Navas ever wanted to leave Spain. His fears are well documented, maybe he would have been OK at Barca or Real, but he seems like a person who hated to leave Spain.

Quote from Navas
"It was my choice [to move]. I wanted to grow there and they have invested a lot to me and I want to keep blossoming there.
"It was a decision I made and a move I wanted to make.
"It is difficult because I have spent many years enjoying it here [at Sevilla].
"But I had decided I wanted to go, it's a very good move for me and I did not hesitate at any time.
I think it's safe that "he never wanted to go to England" is a bit of a stretch. Edit: There was obviously a time, when he was younger, when that was the case. But he was very clear he wanted to move to City.
quote:A quick google search also shows it's well documented that he's over them, at least he claims so. The fact that he's still at the club when Negredo isn't (because he got homesick) suggests he's doing fine in England. And good for him. Panic/anxiety attacks are absolutely awful.
His fears are well documented

I suffer from panic attacks. I'm not not saying you're wrong, but if someone is willing to pay millions for you, it's hard to admit.
ETA - but maybe he's just a bust. You follow City closer than me.

quote:I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to say, but he had opportunities to move to Arsenal before and turned them down because of those panic attacks. He claims that he they're behind him, which is why he was willing to move to City. I just think if they were still an issue, we'd have heard something about them over the past few years. Training incidents, leaving matches, not wanting to travel in the CL. Something. I think it's exceedingly possible, he's had significant breakthroughs with them, even if they aren't completely eliminated.

As far as his play, I think he's been fine. I know the board hates him, but he's been great for the team in my opinion. He works hard every minute he's on the pitch. He's always been a shitty goal scorer. So that was expected. I think he's been a bit selfish offensively, and could do the team better by passing more instead of crossing constantly. But I love Navas, and in no way consider him a bust. That said, he's also not of sufficient quality that I want him starting every game. But he's a great late game sub/spot starter, and I hope he sticks around a couple more years.

Wolfsburg's director of sport Klaus Allofs says Manchester City have made an 'astonishing' salary offer to Kevin De Bruyne.
"He's had an astonishing, astonishing offer from City and we can't compete with that," he said. "We had to take it seriously and that is the way we react with our players and finally we decided to start negotiations with City.”

I kind of don't see this going well for KDB. I don't think he wants to go back to England but just can't turn down the money. Dude has been playing like his mind is elsewhere all season.
Hopefully Wolfsburg has a replacement in mind.

Ruben Sobrino to City
Looks like they will then loan out to Girona. Strange transfer for a 23-year old.
