That hurts. A LOT.

I'd blame the draw but City probably still chokes against Olympiakos. God.

David De Gea: Man Utd will not sell keeper - Louis van Gaal

Manchester United are "not selling" goalkeeper David De Gea before the transfer window closes on 1 September, says manager Louis van Gaal.

The Spain international, 24, has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid throughout the summer, but Van Gaal insists he will stay at United.

"I think when Manchester United wants a player he shall come, besides when a club isn't selling," said the Dutchman.

"It is the same with us. We are not selling De Gea."

Juve need midfielders (Khedira and Marchisio are both injured after they sold Vidal and let Pirlo go).

Can't see any way at all they sell Pogba for almost any price. Really didn't think they would anyway but surely not during the current midfield crises where they're actually scrambling to sign another mid before the window closes.

Well in my scenario we'd be giving them two plus enough money to buy another one.

I'll go ahead and say it for SCH, "Another City youth player bites the dust."

Zuculini was never a youth player though. They bought him at 21.

Juventus are hot for Goetze

I would of rather them had made player deal, than take cash for vidal.

Vidal leaving hurts Juventus much more than selling pogba will. He was the guy who winded teams up, could get a big goal, rock in midfield, but could also move up and play in cm/amc spot if needed.

Also DE Gea finally admitted he isn't happy at ManU and is in a bad spot....he never wanted to go back to Manchester after last season.

I bet DE Gea plays less than 10 games this year and Real still gets him on a free next year.

Win win for Real.

I meant real midfielders who defend as well as attack not wingers or trequartiste.

Cuadrado and Oscar are both very good players but don't anything at all like what Vidal, Marchisio, Pogba (or Khedira) do in balancing a midfield.

Whoooops. Looks like Zuculini isn't leaving after all.

LINK

Rony Lopes will reportedly be allowed to go on loan, but only if he signs an extension with Man City first. Can't afford to lose him to a free transfer.

Rumour that Wanyama has handed in a transfer request. Spurs the likely destination.

Cuadrado is such an enigmatic player. He may be the classic example of a player that is going to look like a world beater on a bit smaller team since he's so explosive but may never really develop the tactical nuance to contribute to a team full of top players.

There's a reason that Fiorentina fans weren't necessarily heartbroken to see him go like they were Jovetic even if he was clearly the most explosive player on their roster.

Juve probably do need some help up front in trying to replace Tevez's productivity short term without putting too much pressure on Dybala (in addition to all the young attacking talents they have on roster and loan like Berardi, Coman etc etc).

Cuadrado would also give them the flexibility to go 4-3-3 as well.

Still, their crisis is in central midfield for the first couple of months (until Marchisio, Khedira, Asamoah are back) and Cuadrado won't help mask that but they'll probably try to get one more box to box midfielder as a stop gap.

Frick. Why don't we package him as part of a potential Pogba deal. Matic, Cuadrado, and 25m. Do it.

Juve definitely has the potential of coming off of a Pogba sale like the Zidane one...

I'd imagine losing Tevez, Vidal and Pirlo is already too much for one summer..
