Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal was so outraged by Angel Di Maria's decision to post a picture with Paris Saint Germain officials ahead of his £44m move that he has reportedly added £3m to his valutaion.

The 27-year-old didn't have permission to be in Qatar for a medical yet posted pictures on social media website Instagram in a move which infuriated Red Devils boss Van Gaal, according to the Daily Mirror.

The reports suggest Di Maria's fee has been raised to £46m following the saga, stemmed from a misunderstanding over his permission to 'talk' to the Parisian club, and the move is still expected to go ahead.

I know that Celtic's gotten around some of the UK medical things by having medicals in France, but why the frick would QSG have their medical in Qatar for any reason other than to prove that they are QSG?

CSKA advanced.

Ahmed Musa with 2 goals. Someone in a major league needs to get him.

Asked on Twitter if he would play for Celtic, Barton replied: "Would love to one day. Maybe when the Old Firm is back it would appeal more. Always wanted to attend/play in one."

Brown and Bitton are both much better than Barton. And I thought Barton was a supporter of the DeadCo?

right now we are at 76 with a net of 23, Liverpool has actually out spent us right now.

The top 6 clubs have done very well this window with net transfers.

maybe another 22 for Pedro.

Its crazy bc they have not even touch the Chevy or Adidas money. Looks like the major overhaul is done. LvG must be really confident in Smalling/Jones/Rojo as our CB's.

That makes about as much sense as Chelsea apparently being confident in their attacking options.
