Well now that Chile is out, we can probably expect the Sanchez news to heat up.

Aren't LFC in the lead for Shaqiri? I would be very surprised if they got both Sanchez and Shaqiri, though maybe not if Suarez leaves.

Is he "not for sale"

I don't follow Ligue 1 much, so this is the first I am seeing him. He's pretty good...

Arsenal won't want to fork out 70 mill for one striker.

It's fricking annoying that people think James is some sort of new star. He sold for the same price as Aguero and was much younger.

It's not the newness, but the WC fervor, as others pointed out in the game thread.

I think he´s got the CRon career plan. Méndes is his agent, BTW. He´s already declared himself a La Liga fan, and RM fan.

Isn't he linked with you guys? They said something about Wenger being in the crowd for the game.

No clue where that came from, other than the broadcast. He's never been linked with us up until about 3 weeks ago when there were rumors that he wanted out of Monaco. If he were to leave, I don't think Wenger would buy him. The price would be way too much.

Yeah of all clubs wanting to drop 70, I wouldn't have thought of Arsenal, obviously. I was confused when I heard it.

I don't see him leaving Monaco this season, but in 2 or 3 years we will be playing for Barcelona or RM

Yeah, he is an incredible talent, I think it's more a case of out of sight out of mind at Monaco... In the months leading up to the WC I had read that he wanted out of Monaco, because he didn't believe in the project anymore and that he could possibly go for a small profit on top f what was paid for him... I imagine that has changed in the past couple of weeks..

I would think he's headed for RM in the very near future...

I´d say future.

Falcao´s condition needs to be properly sussed out, and he´s still a priority (in spite of Benzema´s important uptick).

A James Rodríguez signing would make Isco redundant, and they´d have to place him somewhere else at a phenomenal price. Somewhere else, where he WANTS to go/play. Not easy.

Alexis Sánchez is the key here (I could see Isco going to Barcelona).

Yeah, I figured his position at RM would be as a #10, though he's mostly played on the right (and left) of a 4-3-3 at club level... He isn't going to oust one of those two (even though I think he's better than Bale, that's a debate for another time) and I think the middle is his future..
