That's all I know is that if Colin signs half of the players that have been linked with us then we will have by far the best team (on paper) in the Championship next season. I'm curious to see what transpires over the next month or so. If I receive any reliable info. from my sources I'll post it here. MOT!!!

As of today, Macca wants out. Hopefully we can change his mind over the next few months. If he leaves, then I can see Becks as a likely substitute. Looks like we have a lot of competition for Ward including the Tractor Boys
. Bates is going to have to loosen the purse strings to acquire all of these high-priced targets. MOT!!!

I read a family members statement about this. As of right now, McCormack is in Spain on vacation and sent word that he loves Leeds and the fans and has no desire to leave the club.
The deal that was offered by Warnock was a two year extension on the same wages. He says that he doesn't want to sign at this time but isn't planning on leaving, unless transfer listed a la Adam Clayton.

Yeah, I read that as well. We'll see how it transpires. Players always say how much they love ER and love the fans..blah blah blah..and then depart for greener pastures. I hope he stays because he showed moments of brilliance this season and became our most consistent threat up front. MOT!!!!

:crickets:
how sad is it we couldn't come up with 400k to sign a guy from a club in administration. wouldn't blame neil at all if he decides to walk in the next few weeks. probably waiting to see if there's anything to the investor talk first.

supposedly on the verge of signing kenny and lee peltier.

I like both deals, although I don't think we "need" Kenny.
Do you think there is any truth to the possible takeover rumors that have been swirling for the last few weeks?

i've heard different rumors. the one about the middle eastern billionaire has been going around for a while. if something happens, it needs to happen soon so we can get on with our summer plans.

No truth. I am reminded of the plot of Slapshot when I read or hear anything about a possible takeover. Bates may eventuallly depart for health reasons but unless he receives a tremendous amount of money he is not going anywhere. He still has big plans for the club. Unfortunately they don't involve signing high-priced transfers. Howvever they do include attracting more women to the matches and installing luxury boxes at ER. Most of this info comes from a letter that Bates wrote to a friend of mine in Leeds. MOT....LUSC!!!

we signed adam drury today
Posted on 6/19/12 at 3:31 pm to S
Drury is a bit long in the tooth for a LB but will add some experience and skill. I don't think he is the solution to our on-going problems at that position. We'll see. Hopefully, Colin will surprise us with some sexy signings as the Summer progresses. MOT.......LUSC!!!!

Paul Green has signed a two year deal.

I hear that if he doesn't buy the team then there's a retirement community in Florida that is interested.

2 signings in 2 days
most of the leeds forums across the net seem to think this much movement means no investment

They're hideous. I gave a few of my mates shite for purchasing them. Horrible. I don't mind the blue or yellow away strips but we need to avoid non-Leeds colors at all cost. MOT

They look like the reverse of Baylor's atrocious basketball jerseys :yuck:

exactly what they remind me of
guy just signed with the club, at least give him a home jersey.
