I mean, Villarreal looked great in the first half and we were sloppy, but why we would ever play defending a lead vs going for it, I’ll never know

he’s def not the best rb in the world but he’s in a perfect situation with our good cb usually being able to cover his defensive errors and he more than makes up for it for LFC with what he does going forward It’s almost like the argument should be is he the best player that starts at the rb position
If you made a starting 11 with the best players in the world, he wouldn’t be considered at all for a 4 at the back but if you had a back 3 or back 5 you’d have a case with choosing Trent

Attacking, hard to argue but you’re supposed to play defense as well in that position.
Could he do better? Absolutely. He also runs a shite ton so it’s no surprise he occasionally gets lazy and makes a mental mistake

Would imagine the only one people would take over him would be Reece James

SCH’s schtick is to proclaim TAA as overrated at any opportunity. Maybe it’s deflecting the fact that Wan Bissaka is actually one of the most overrated RB’s in the world and plays for his team, idk.

He's perfect for our version of a 4-3-3. I don't think he just slots into any other team, but for Liverpool and the way we play he's the best RB in the world.

I have limited viewing this year. The 7yo and newborn take up more time than I have now. Dont even really get to watch Madrid games anymore, have to watch replays.
I have been able to halfass watch the champions league games since they are on during the workday. Reece James looked damn good against Vinicius. So much so that Madrid is interested in signing him now.
