how though? i figure if UGA wins, Bama will go up to number 1 or two if OSU wins

I figure if LSU wins, they stay at 1 and OSU could jump bama to the 2 spot

If LSU doesn't wake up and Georgia wins, then why should Alabama play for the national title if its the SEC's third-best team?

Yup, Okie State just has to win...

JJ looks fricking lost out there.

Lsu losing is good for bama. I think if lsu loses and osu wins then we see a osu/bama championship. If lsu and osu wins I think it'll be close but most likely lsu/bama rematch.

lol no

Why would they put the 3rd best SEC team in the NCG? It's impossible for Georgia to play in it, so they'll look at LSU since they beat Bama head-to-head in T-Town

An LSU loss here destroys the perception that Bama and LSU are just miles ahead of the rest of CFB this season. Bama's only real claim to fame is playing LSU close and blowing out some terrible SEC teams. The voters won't want to see two teams who finished 2nd and 3rd in their conference play for the national championship.

Having said that, OSU is the only real threat to Bama.

Would it really shock anyone if LSU, VaTech, and OK State all lost? Its unlikely but I'm already picking Oklahoma, Clemson's already dominated VT once, and LSU looks awful and is lucky to be only behind by three.

It's how the voters will look at it.

LSU beats Bama, but loses to UGA. UGA is the "king" of the SEC because they're better than LSU, yet LSU is better than Bama. That's how they'll look at it. I'm not saying Georgia is better than Bama OR LSU, either...

The real perception is that bama is the best team in the country and lsu got lucky.

Exactly. It will no longer be about who has the best loss.

Bamas two best un-losses are an over rated Ark and a mediocre PSU. Why do they deserve to go to the title again? OSU has a better resume when you take out the un-win. OSU and Bama are both undefeated in regulation.

No matter what, OSU has to lose tonight for Bama to get in the NCG, IMO.

Rooting my arse off for Okie State to win tonight...
