Good Game LSU, I thought it was a Pick too.

Just have to get this officially off my chest. I thought both teams played a good game, sorry to hear scott broke his collarbone, and I did think that the questionable call was a pic. I don't think there is any conspiracy though. I knew this call, along with previous would leave a bad impression on the sec, and that upsets me. I will enjoy our win due to the fact I think we would have won either way, but I wish a contreversial call wasn't involved. Good game LSU and Roll Tide!

Thank you. You probably would have won either way. I think you're the only tide fan on here with balls enough to admit that and I give you props for it.

it was a pick but it didnt lose the game. They had done nothing on offense th esecond half. JJ is a great qb when given time but I thnk we knew that was going to be a question for their line. Losing TBob wasnt bad because unlike us Miles is smart enough to rotate someone else in on a regular basis. LSU will win out.

1st it wasn't just THAT ONE CALL!
Second, without poor officiating I am not convinced you would have one! That said,
BAMA is as good as LSU. LSU is as good as BAMA! Frick anybody that says anything different! We will never know the true outcome of the game. 5 years from now LSU fans will be the only ones that remember this game! The record books, non SEC fans, & Bama fans will see this only as a loss as any other poorly officiated game. I am an SEC fan and will pull for you and HONESTLY if you lose a game... the only way I would be happy is if you got frikked by a officiating. Other than that, good luck to the Tide in your bowl game!

It was an interception and it would have been fun to see if Lee could have done it, although from his performance tonight it doesn't seem like it. Peterson is a beast. 2 losses to two of the top three. I can live with that considering this year's expectations. Now we just have to take care of Ole Miss and Arkansas.

we had a long drive earlier in the 2nd half so there goes us not doing shite bullshite.
i agree it was a good game and the ref didn't win it for you but they damn sure took a chance away from us with a blatant terrible call. Its either fixed or the sec refuses to hire refs that are competent.

It does suck when something like that(the int) hangs over the game. Regardless of that, it was a hell of a game by both teams. Even with the player substitutions that LSU had to deal with, they were still right there.
I have a feeling this type of game will be the norm for a few years to come, and I for one am happy to see that. (as long as we can come out with a win of course)

Good post. I think that Alabama probably would have still won, but I'll take being down by 6 with 5 minutes to go and 1st and 10 at our 30 anyday of the week and twice on Sundays to have a shot at it.
Plus, LSU did drive 40 yards for a TD after the safety. That was in the 3rd quarter with Jarrett Lee as our QB. So, I think it could have been done again.
Still, Bama won and I give them congratulations. I also have respect for Bama fans that admit that it was a pick. A lot of game was left to be played, though, I agree.

I think it was a pick but I don't think it would have changed the outcome of the game. Once injuries started coming, LSU lost their momentum. Lee wasn't the best last year and he just couldn't get it done.
Both teams played a hell of a game and I hope LSU wins the rest of their games cause I don't hate the tigers.

Thanks for admitting it was a pick. I think it was clear for all of America except the refs. Would there have been a different outcome if it was called a pick? Nobody knows, but it would have been nice to have given the chance. Take that away, take away the missed facemask, take away the horrible spot early in the game.....but the only one I really have a major problem with is the pick. Again, understand I am not saying LSU wins with this pick.....I just wish we would ahve had the chance to see.
Great game and I hope a SEC team wins the crystal ball.

That call didn't win or lose the game. I'm upset that we didn't have the chance to make one of those epic game winning drives to end an awesome game though.

I know its hard to understand, but in some ways I feel just as cheated as LSU fans, not as bad obviously because we won. But I believe in our team, and I believe in our D, I would have much rather it been called a pick, then just forced yall into a three and out, or got the pick we got later on. Like I said, Ill take the win but good game LSU.
